Downy Ball Automatic Dosing Dispenser (Single Ball)

Came in a cardboard covered Strip with directions on how to use. Quality holds up two loads of laundry and easy to use good value for the money that was spent on this item bottle capacity was sufficient.

Works well when your washing machine doesn't have a softener delivery method. Easy to fill and works every time.

Definite must have, especially if you have an older washing machine without a built in dispenser. Easy to use. Pop the top, fill to the line with fabric softener, close the ball and toss it into the wash.

I used to use a Downy ball all the time, I got a front loader and just used the built in cup and then bounce came out with the bounce dryer bar so I stopped and threw out my downy stuff and switched to the dryer bar. They no longer make the dryer bar and I now have a top loader so I am back to the downy ball.There have been some changes since my first generation ball and I'm not sure if they are good or bad but really it works 95% of the time so it's all good.The two major changes I noticed is the different fill lines for different load sizes. Kind of unnecessary since I always do extra large, but maybe someone out there some smaller loads. I can ALWAYS find more clothes to put in the washer so there's never a need to do a small load. Next the rubber stopper is a bit different. It feels thicker than I remember and so it's harder to shove it out of the way so you can fill it. It also doesn't always open. If I remember correctly the old one did that too but I tend to blame the thicker rubber.All in all it's the best way to deliver Downy softness to your laundry if you don't have built in cups.

I bought this because the fabric softener dispenser in my washer gets so gunked up. This little gem does not . I like it.

Been using it’s for several washes now. Only had one accident with it in the wash where some of the softener leaked out before it was ready and it permanently stained one of my towels but it hasn’t happened since. I think it’s possible I didn’t close it all the way who knows.

Used 3 times and the inside came apart.

I don’t know how this works because how does it know which spin cycle to release the fluid in so I don’t know if it actually works, but it makes me feel better
