We use this and the chomp chomp since we have 5 cats. It works amazingly. One of our cats in a fluffy main coon and we even use this to brush him. He absolutely loves it and goes a little wild when we use it on him. Great for rugs and our sofa, I have even used it on my sheets that were pilling. I will probably invest in getting the longer handle one but to begin with, this is amazing. It does have a harder time sometimes with one sofa that gives off a lot of static electricity but we most it with a little of water and that solves it. We do make sure to dry the uproot after we are done but so far no rust or any other issues.

I have had a smaller version of this tool by another company and it has been plenty satisfactory, but this Uproot Max version is awesome. It saves time by increasing the width space and I just feel it does a better job. It takes just a small amount of effort and a light press. Now, for delicate fabrics and clothes …I suggest the Uproot glove; it can’t pull or grab.

The Uproot tool really works—it pulls hair right up from the carpet. It’s a bit wider than a DVD case and you’ll need to use it while on the floor. Just keep in mind, you’ll be on your knees while using it, especially if you’re doing a whole room. Its great if you only have a small area to pull hair from.

This pulled up so much more hair than I imagined! It works for carpet and it also works on the fabric couch and doesn’t snag the fabric! It’s like magic! You must own one of these if you have pets.

So this scraper works AMAZING on regular traditional pile carpets. My vacuum wasn’t getting all the hair. White dog + dark carpet = visible hairs all of the time. The picture is what I got out of the carpet AFTER I vacuumed first. Gross. It also nicely re-fluffs the carpet where it had been matted down from traffic. Also worked great on the fleece of the cat trees in my house Where this thing DOES NOT WORK- on any other woven fabric. Even using it at the 90 degree angle like it says for more delicate fabrics- it snags and catches. It will tear your stuff up! See picture of my blue area rug. It is a looped pile with different height piles. Again white dog, dark carpet. I was hoping it would help what the vacuum wasn’t getting. SNAGGED ON THE CARPET IMMEDIATELY. Tried it on my chenille couch, could hear it snagging and catching. Stopped immediately before I ruined my furniture. And yes, I was using it correctly holding it at a 90 degree angle. But even a slight tilt away when you move it causes it to snag. Wont dare try it on clothes. DO NOT USE THIS FOR ANY WOVEN FABRICS, BERBER CARPETS, WOVEN CARPETS, LOOPED PILE, ETC. There is another hair remover on Amazon that is triangular, with teeth, but it’s rubber so won’t ruin your stuff. Came in clutch after this tool I gave it 3 stars because it does work great on traditional carpet pile. Deducted stars for everything else it CANNOT be used on. Also it is way overpriced for what it is.

This is super sturdy and strong; you can really rake hard with it. It's honestly perfect all around. Could be cheaper, but seems like it will last a long time.

This is the one you want. Look no FUR-ther. Not any other contraption is gonna do what you need other than a vacuum cleaner. That would be the only other device that could do better. I use this on my velvet blanket, my dog sheds quite a bit and this magical device does the job. As ADVERTISED! At least in my opinion. I recommend the biggest one to cover the area faster. It may take alil elbow grease to get the desired end result but it is worth it. I have used it on my futon cover too. Yes, this thing has metal/copper teeth so it will pull alil on the fabric but I have had this for nearly 2 years and nothing has been destroyed.

Fantastic product and man does it remove pet hair from upholstery and carpets. I have a Dyson Animal vacuum and the Uproot pulls up so much more hair that the vacuum misses. It also makes removing pet hair off the couch a snap. Love love love this product and highly recommend it.

I no longer vacuum the stairs. This little tool gets into the corners and pulls out all the pet hair (I have 3 long haired dogs) wonderfully! They think it's pretty fun to watch me do it too. My stairwell and area rugs have never been so pet hair free and new looking since using this tool. The instructions paper said it could be used on clothing and furniture as well, but I tried it and it started pulling threads out. Other lint/pet hair remover products are better for that type of material.

We have a medium size dog that doesn’t shed. My husband and I are a clean household, no kids. I vacuum our house almost daily because I love a clean house. I saw this product in a targeted ad on Facebook and we all know that it’s hit or miss (mostly miss) when it comes to those products. I don’t trust the comments. I don’t trust the quality. I don’t trust when they say it isn’t shipped from overseas. I know so many people who have been duped and I usually just stay away. But I guess because I clicked on the Uproot Clean Facebook ad at one point it was stuck in my algorithm and I was seeing it multiple times a day for probably two months. I have to admit I remained intrigued. So I decided to look for Uproot Clean on Amazon because I figured well, if it is a garbage product then at least I can return it easily. So I finally caved and bought one and used it today. WOW! It works so well. I bought it to use on our area rugs and I was stunned by what it captured. We have an expensive Dyson vacuum and even that isn’t a match for the Uproot Clean Pro tool. You can see in the photo I posted that even with daily vacuuming and a nonshedding dog there is still dust and hair and debris that is missed. But the Uproot Clean Pro takes care of it. This photo is from doing only one area on our living room carpet. Incredible. My one regret is that I should have purchased the Uproot Clean tool with the long broom handle. I purchased this version of the tool because it was half the price of the one with the long handle and I figured I wouldn’t be using it all that much. Maybe one carpet here and there. Well, one carpet turned into five all in one evening and having to be down on the floor to use it can get tiring even for someone who is in good physical shape. So honestly, the tool is so good my only recommendation would be to buy the one with the long handle to save you the extra trouble. I don’t know how it works on clothes or couches etc. I don’t need it for that purpose. But for carpets (and even car upholstery) I am all for it. I should have bought it sooner. The excellent reviews are correct so don’t hesitate to purchase it.
