Nice lights. There is a screw that keeps the end from unscrewing, thus making them intrinsically safe. These have been running at my business for five years and the Operators have not been able to break them yet. I can recommend for purchase. Thanks, LAURENCE2A

Overall, I liked the design of this flashlight better than the Streamlight version. I liked having the buttons for both lights on the same side. Reduces inadvertent presses of the wrong button. The light quality is very good (not high CRI, though). The main hot spot of the beam is an even white color, and does not show any irregular green-yellow areas (like some competitors). The hot spot is about 10% of the diameter of the larger flood beam (not referring to the separate flood light). The hot spot is roughly 6 feet in diameter at about 50 feet. Ideal for what I wanted. When using the flood light, the tail magnet works well when attaching the flashlight perpendicular to a vertical metal surface. I found it worked very well attached to an electrical panel, HVAC, auto fender or metal bumper. It was also acceptable (just barely) for attaching to a refrigerator/freezer and water heater. I liked the clip. You can attach it one-handed to your pocket, but will probably need two hands to attach or remove from your front shirt collar. About batteries: Instructions say WARNING: In order to maintain the Intrinsically Safe Permissible rating, the only AA batteries certified for use with this light are the Duracell PC1500, Energizer EN91 or Energizer L91 batteries. Do not attempt to use any other brand or model of AA batteries with this light. Do not attempt to use any type of rechargeable AA batteries with this light. Energizer L91 are the same as Energizer Ultimate Lithium, which is what I plan to use. Batteries say L91 on them.

Awesome light! The clip is handy to hang from your jeans when you have the smaller flood light on. Not too heavy, good price for how tough it is and takes common household batteries. What more could you want?

Best work flashlight I've ever used. Upside: Amazingly bright main light. Usefully bright and well-though-out secondary flood light. Very Rugged. Strong magnet base. Strong (almost too strong) clip. No strobe or red light gimmicks to have to navigate around. Works perfectly with rechargeable AAs. Downside: 1) Pretty steep price for some injection molded plastic, albeit very rugged plastic. Would be nice if the three-pack, 5-pack and 10-pack were something less expensive than 3, 5, or 10-times the single price, especially for such an expensive light. 2) Odd choice of 3 AA batteries. The battery compartment will obviously hold a fourth. Why not just make it four for endurance, or two and make it smaller? 3) Very "catchy" construction. A lot of bumps, knobby bits and sharp corners. Shape could be streamlined. That being said, I've bought two more. One is now my new car flashlight. One is my new shop flashlight. Would buy again if i needed another good light.

I have been purchasing Nightsticks products since 2024. Flashlights, pen lights and headlamps. I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality. This is my absolute favorite flashlight for general use. You have the main beam which is crisp and bright, but you also have a smaller light that points straight down so you can scan AND see what's at your feet or close to you at the same time. The magnets are strong and reliable to give you hands free vision or just to stick it somewhere in the cab of your machine so it's easily seen and accessed if you have to get out and look at something. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and rugged work flashlight.

I've used these about 2 years now and they never let me down. No hesitation in using these in high dust environments or in where volatiles are present. It is bright and the magnets are fantastic for hands free use.definately a recommended purchase. I have 12 of these.

Very good no issues, good for oil and gas industry professional. Warning for offshore professionals - there is a magnet on this, this may not be allowed to be carried in helicopter- I was stopped couple of times.
