I bought this primarily because we have a litter box in the basement. Any time I would change the cat litter or if it was a little over due in being changed it would stink up the,whole basement and clean cat litter didn't clean the smell out of the air. The smell would hang around for days. So after reading reviews I got this one and it definitely cleans the air. It doesn't get as stinky and when I change the cat litter the basement air is clean in a couple hours. The light is bright, but since it's a basement it's actually nice. It's pitch black down there otherwise.

This negative ion generating air purifier is inexpensive and easy to use. All you do is plug it in. It doesn't make any noise, but just emits a slight comforting breeze. The place where I am staying is an old trailer converted to a house. Before using the Anion Air Purifier, there was always a funky odor in the house. I am happily pleased that the odor has disappeared!!!! Also, this seems to have a calming effect that I appreciate in this high-traffic location. The main drawback is the intensity of the LED nightlight. What I decided to do to avoid headaches from this is just to put a couple of strips of black electrical tape over the lighted area. This works well and it doesn't seem to heat up and emit any fumes. All in all, this is perfect for someone on a budget that can't afford an Ionic Breeze tower with the strips you pull out and clean.

filter is good, def notice a dif in the air,... omg the night light is brigher then the sun!!!!! they give u sticker that you can put over it... still looks like im being bathed in the light from a tanning booth. not kidding. its that bright.

This air purifier does its job in cleaning the air. It acts as an ionizer and releases negative charged ion which restores the air to its purist state. The best part is that it doesn't require an air filter. It's very easy to use, I have one at home and one in my office. It also acts as a night light which provides more safety at home at night, its a plus for me as I like having some light on at midnight. Overall I'm really pleased with this product.

I purchased this purifier about 3 weeks ago. It arrived in a timely fashion and it worked immediately, when I plugged it in I noticed a difference in the air and it obliterated wee wee pad odor in just a few minutes. However, 2nd day of using product in my half bathroom, which is only 125sqft, it no longer eliminated the odor. I purchased this purifier for my half bathroom which is where I keep my Chihuahua's wee wee pad station, due to the strong urine odor I come home to after a long day's work, I need a purifier that will eliminate the lingering odor that comes from the wee wee pad. This product is compact and the night light is a good feature as well to illuminate the small area during night hours. Unfortunately, the product ended up being a huge disappointment. I would have like to replace the item with another one of the same, however, the merchant only accepts returns for refunds and not exchanges. I will continue to search for a similar product that works well but will be sending this one back for full refund :(

I purchased this item from Amazon a week after my wife read in some magazines about the benefits of negative ions during the winter time. I am a Principal Electrical Engineer, so I wanted to look at some of the proof. After reading some of the articles claiming the benefits of negative ions, there is science backing the idea up. However, there are some things you have to realize with this product. It is not a magic cure. I did not smell any "after rain" smell, nor did this make me miraculously happy. What it has done consistently is improve my mood. Emphasis on IMPROVE. My job is very stressful, and when I get home, pluging this in next to a humidifier. Most nights I found myself in a better mood than without. It took the edge off. It did not make me happy, but it took the edge off the stress. As a result, my family have been happier for the past week. Alo the LED light is super powerful, and I am very enjoy this product. Hope this helps you.

I bought this one because it was the only air purifier I found that used negative ions, didn't produce ozone or have a lot of negative comments. My wife suffered from allergies daily before we bought this product and since then has had maybe two or three bad days in the two months since we bought it. I plugged it in at the kitchen island across from the sink. The garbage pail is under the sink behind two doors. When the garbage doesn't get taken out right away or dishes are allowed to remain in the sink too long it would start to smell. Since I put this air purifier nearby I would say it has reduced the smell during those times by 95%. I can't say that I have noticed any great improvement in my mood or anyone else's but they haven't gotten worse. The only negative is the night light is too bright for my liking. It is a distraction when we want to watch TV and that eliminates many of the places in the downstairs area where I would otherwise put it. Even so, knowing what I know now I would buy it again.

I read all the reviews before I purchased this and decided, despite what a lot of people said about being too bright, to purchase it. Everyone has a different definition of "bright" so I thought I would take a chance. Another reason I purchased this is because it has no fan and is completely silent. I wanted to plug it in beside my bed, and also I wanted to use it in hotel rooms when I travel. Pros: Quiet and easily transportable. Cons: WAY TOO BRIGHT!!!!! It does come with a white label to place over the light if you find it too bright, so I did this. Still WAY TOO BRIGHT!!! I had to move the luggage rack with my suitcase on it to place it in front of the light to try to dim it even more. It wasn't successful. The second night in the hotel I moved it to the other side of the bedside table so it wasn't shining in my eyes. Still too bright!!! When I came home I placed duct tape across it thinking that would dull it somewhat. It did, but still too bright to place beside the bed. I wish they would make this without a light. If you put it in a room where the light is not an issue, then it would be a good item.
