Rubie's Costume Co Halo Master Chief Costume with 1/2 Vacuform Mask, Green, One Size

first all of i was a bit scared to order because the negative comments, but as a halo fan i took a chance and for ten bucks its not really a bit lost. So i ordered and received today and wow. Its worth the money i mean yea cheap not so super hard plastic but its not all bad. Its worth it for kids or halo fans looking for not too expensive mask..

I bought this for one of my boys for Halloween because he wanted to be Halo but the Halo custome was too expensive so he was going to dress up in camouflage and wear this helmet. He never got to wear it because first of all is too big for children. It doesn't stay in place at all. It is also very cheap plastic. The part in the back is connected with the front part of the mask with velcro dots and the dots do not connect well. I took the velcro dots away and put long velcro strips so both pieces would connect better.On the other hand the edge of the neck part is sharp and would hurt my son every time it touched his neck. I had to cover the edges of the neck with camouflage duct tape so he wouldn't feel the sharp edges. I was not able to keep it in place once it was in his head, it was always moving around his head so he decided not to wear it.I just think it was a waste of money. The mask was only like $9.00 but then you had to pay another $9 or $10 for shipping so $20 dollars spent for nothing. I really do not recommend buying this mask for your child, look for another type of mask.

This is a thin, cheaply made mask - which is about what you should expect at this price point. I would have given it a 4-star rating except they continue gluing the hanging tab on top of the mask - despite all the feedback that trying to remove the tab tears the mask. Before I could warn my wife she had already split the mask trying to take off the tab. My son doesn't care and enjoys wearing the mask, but my assumption is that it will last a few weeks, maybe a little longer if he is really careful.

Nice mask. The price was right and it held up well. From a distance it looks like a thicker mask and up close it is quite thin. That's okay though because the price was what we could afford the boys still got the look they achieved. We bought three of these for our boys to wear on Halloween.

Conclusion: Good mask, but I thought it was a helmet. It is a thin plastic mask like a cheap Casper mask used in Halloween, just for you to know.Pros+ My 10 year old enjoyed it, we wears it and plays, so approved by the user+ The visor is metallic from the outside but from the inside you can look out good just like shades.Cons- I feel it will last just a few more days, plastic is really thin, if someone steps on it, goodbye mask.- Seller should include a picture of the back so they can see its just thin plastic with one elastic cord to hold it to your head and not a full helmet.

This was absolutely the best helmet for my son's Halo costume. As soon as it came in the mail he wore for the rest of the day. We found this online with Prime, so was able to get it in time for Halloween. Everyone that saw him loved it. It is a hard plastic, not like the flimsy stuff that normally comes with costumes. The strap on the back is durable and has Velcro to stay in place. Overall, this was a great purchase and the price was great. The visibility through it was also great. Will definitely buy again if anything ever happens to this one!

this item was purchased for my sons 6th bday which isnt for another week... the mask is not exactly what i wanted and i dont believe it is sellers fault.. it is very cheaply made.... but MY SON WILL STILL LOVE IT... its halo.. sooooo with that being said my son will be satisfied and that is what is important
