ORIGBELIE External CD DVD Drive, USB 3.0 & 4 USB Ports & 2 TF/SD Card Slots

I purchased this external disc drive for my laptop, which doesn't have a built-in CD/DVD drive, and it has worked perfectly from day one. Setup was incredibly simple – just plug it in and it was recognised immediately without needing to install any additional software.The drive is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry, making it ideal for use at home or when travelling.The read speeds are good, and the drive runs quietly compared to others I've used in the past. The build quality feels solid, and the included cable is a good length for comfortable use. I haven’t used the write function to date.For the price, this is an excellent solution for anyone who still needs access to CDs or DVDs on a modern computer. Reliable, easy to use, and great value for money. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent product, after having dissatisfaction with my previous disc drive, I was aware I needed a new one, this was on the slightly more expensive side, however it makes sense why, my expertise with it has been flawless, it works fine with my laptop and I believe it’s compatible with most other major laptops. It is relatively small, which is perfect for portability, not to mention that it burns CDs quickly and works without having to wait long. Also this is very simple to use and is very user friendly, even to those who don’t often use technology. You press a button, put your disc in, push it in and it’s done.I honestly couldn’t say a single negative comment about this, as in my opinion it is near flawless!

The drive worked straight out of the box, just connected it via the USB and my desktop recognized the drive immediately.It does everything you would expect, play DVDs, play music CD's, allow installations from software disks, you get the picture.It looks the business, seems well built and I like the multi coloured light to show the action currently in place with the drive.Why then 4 stars...... Because .... there's a couple of things that are an issue for me.Number one the length of the USB cable is no where near long enough if you're using it on a desktop and it does recommend to not use an extension cable to connect the drive.I had no alternative and therefore used a good quality extension cable and thus far have had no issues with it being recognized, fingers crossed on going.Issue number 2 .... just as the length of the USB cable so too is the charging cable, much too short.Luckily with some manipulation of my power sockets I managed to complete the power cable connection.I would recommend this drive though because as a laptop drive it would be perfect.It also has some very useful connection ports, USB, tf card reader along with other useful ports.A very nice carry case that is stable and secure for the device.Not with standing the cable length issues I'm very happy with my purchase.

Worked fairly well ripping CDs for the first couple of weeks. It then began reading them only intermittently; I would frequently have to eject and reinsert multiple times to get it to read discs. After about a month it stopped reading discs altogether and wouldn't eject the disc either; I had to take the drive apart to get my disc back before throwing the drive in the bin. Should've bought a more recognised brand in the first place as I've now had to pay out for a new, more expensive drive. Avoid.

Completely happy with this product. Used it for the first time today, and no hiccups or problems. A good piece of kit. Definitely recommend.

With most modern laptops coming without a CD / DVD player let alone a burner, this makes for a great add-on. Works perfectly first time, every time with my 2024 Razer laptop and is very much plug and play. Within seconds of plugging it in, it appears in 'My Computer' and offers great read and write speeds via the USB-C connection. It does come with an additional USB to DC and USB 2.0 cable but I've found my laptop is able to power it off of the single USB-C connection. Great cost effective and efficient method of adding CD/DVD player to your laptop.

It is unbearably loud, I have only just started to use it but unable to watch the DVD due to the noise from this.

The item did came in a box and a cool little baggie! That's mostly what I can say about it since it's not very ideally compatible with Windows XP

Garbage. Failed out of the box. Wouldn’t turn on.

Pour l'usage que j'ai de ce lecteur/graveur (essentiellement installer des logiciels sur CD-Rom), il me convient parfaitement.J'ai mis un CD musique par nostalgie et pour voir ('écouter' serait plus juste). L'appareil me semble satisfaisant.

On le branche: ça fonctionne parfaitement. Il n’y a pas plus simple.Il fait presque oublier que ce périphérique , pour celui qui en a encore l’utilité, disparaît malheureusement des portables actuels. La compacité des services est en voie de régression.

Acer nitro v15 con Windows 11.Provato subito con un CD di installazione per stampante tutto perfettamente funzionante.Prodotto ottimo calcolando il prezzo pagato. Molto bella la sua custodia in dotazione compreso cavo USB/ type c in più a quello che c'è già presente nel lettore CD DVD . Lo consiglio vivamente
