Honestly great camera
Honestly great camera, you have the app that lets you move it 360 degrees, i have this camera set up in another country using a 5g sim card i put inside it and i can watch the camera from anywhere at any time. battery life practically never ends which is great, video / picture quality is great, Night looks very good it has a light that lights up the area, connects very well and is very fast (has antennas).

Great, but setup was fraut
A great product, but when you do the setup make sure the camera is fully charged, to do this plug it into a USB charger in the wall socket. Also inserting the 4G sim card is fiddly. Has to be just right. Then setup went really well. In the UK the best deal for a 4G card was a 12 month card from EE. A good image but on zooming in to a face not actually that sharp. The solar panel works well and my camera is not dipping much below 90% in battery power each day.

Reasonable value but not with allot of faults
I bought this system to remote monitor wildlife, 2k video is a great compromise in bandwidth and file size, but it has two really annoying features missing, why restrict the sd card memory size to 128GB? , another feature which I cannot understand is why it is not possible to delete recorded videos on the SD card remotely but you can format the whole card remotely, you cannot bank up great footage without having to burn through your 4g data and download it. I've been testing it for 5 days now, a proper review will follow after proper testing, (not on my kitchen table). Update 13/11. the 6000mah battery that's been solar charged has dropped to 45%, since the start I've had push notifications turned on and infrared lights on, that's the only two features I can think of that would burn power, I check it approx. 20mins a day. I can visit the site where i have it set up every two weeks so it looks like 5hours of direct sunlight is not enough to leave it as the manufacturers claim, ill have to use a battery brick to charge it in the field, 5V 2A so its certainly not capable of charging it enough, maybe a better panel and quality battery would suffice for the typical weather in the UK. Update. 15/11/22 Although the camera said it was at 24% charge it's actually died on me. It started with good potential but has failed the manufacturer's hype in my opinion. Update 8/12/22 Temperature from 5DegC down to -2 affects battery life massively (as all batteries tend to suffer in low temps) I'm now getting 7days after I've fully charged it. Maybe another few years redesign and spec changes and it may of caught up with there claims.

It’s great!
This model was recommended to me and it’s brilliant! We bought it because my horse has recently changed yards and last year he had a really bad experience with fireworks, and as we live in East Sussex with it’s bonfire societies our window for fireworks is long - hence why I wanted a camera. Anyway it’s brilliant & was really easy to set up. We are using the solar panel and it’s still 100% even though we have some v dull days.

It works well but you need direct sun to charge
I have got 2 of these cameras and been using them for about 9 months now. They do great at capturing images and the Giffgaff 2Gb Sim I got separately is cheap to use in it at £6/month, as there is no wifi at the locations. The only problem I have had is now that we are in winter and the sun is low, 1 of the cameras solar panels doesnt get direst sun, it is facingthe right way but really doesn't seem to charge. I have had a replacement system from them, just in case it was a fault, but it is the same. In the summer when the sun is higer it will get direct sun and so should charge ok. But just bear that in mind. At the moment I have to take the camera down after about a week or so to fully charge, which is a pain as it is on a remote site, not at home. The other camera charges ok as it does get direct sun, when it appears of course! I would buy one again but make sure the location has direct sun in the winter too.

Easy to use
4 stars because I haven't had the time to test it any long time yet. But have several reolink cameras since before and very content with them. So far installed and started and that seems easy as usual.

Ottima!!

Good camera, excellent after-sales, more R&D needed
As a seasoned Reolink user of about 15 different cameras in several international locations, this particular GO PT Plus camera provided the usual clear photo/video in a far off tropical Asian country with weak, variable cell signal situated in a jungly location where tree growth and other obstructions are common. The performance was good but the environment was harsh - very heavy rains torrential, ants, electrostatic disturbances (thunder/lightning is frequent) and high seasonal winds in a camera on a tree. There was an issue with water sealing which affected the camera (misting) and also with occasional heavy ant intrusion (maybe they liked some components!:) ); this situation could be considered within heavy tropical monsoon conditions where wind and associated rain together will lash the hardware for continuous days (this same type of GO PT cameras used in the same location indoors have not had these same issues). I have drawn Reolink's attention to some design features (read water entry points) which should be strengthened against an otherwise good performance/cost hardware. I strongly encourage Reolink to really technically improve this for my situations but so far I am not sure where this request has gone (-you may not get this combination of elements in Europe - snow is not a concern). I have experienced excellent customer support from Reolink's After-Sales team over for several years irrespective of camera, including this sale, and honestly this is why I have repeatedly bought products. I know they will back it up. They have always listened and acted considerately/decisively/quickly - and that's more than I can say for many electronics products off amazon. I rely heavily on a cost effective camera system in difficult seasonal conditions- the app also is stable and works well which is important so I don't have updating issues and easier management- and the GO series and well as Duocams have served well (Argus too at lesser price point). Be sure to use the cables that come with the cameras (esp for charging) as I have experienced a few issues substituting with generic USB cables!
