332 Mortise Chisel, 1/2"

I used this tool for the first time building a customer a set of custom cedar double doors for a screened in porch in Atlanta, GA. I am sure I could have done a cleaner job with mu use of the tool, but the mortise and tendons fit just great all in all. Doors turned out well, happy customer

When they claim the CAB handle is unbreakable, they mean it. I've really hammered on mine and it still looks practically brand new after plenty of good usage chopping large mortises. This is a great mortise chisel. Good steel. The only downside (which is a downside with just about all mortise chisels) is you have to freehand sharpen it, so there is considerable danger of getting the bevel off square. I've tried several different honing guides, and it slips in all. All in all, this is a 100 year chisel and will outlive you.
