The product is good quality. I'm using for getting the black residue off of old cast iron skillets so I can restore them. The plastic container is thick and the lid seals well, which I appreciate.

Bought it to make soap haven't used it for that but I have used it to clean bathroom drains & it works great! I am not a fan of having to use personal protective equipment (gloves) but the house is old so are the drains using this beats having clogged drains

I just recently started making soaps. And I really do want to learn how to go even deeper into the soap making. However I was not comfortable with the lime yet the manufacturer was very kind about it they understood and they said that I could return it if I wish. I can't give you a full evaluation on the product itself as I have not used it.
