Definitely solid copper core wire!
This seems like a great product. It's solid core like it says, which is just what I was looking for. The home center wire around here costs about the same for the same length but *copper-coated* steel wire. So it was worth ordering online, IMO for a superior product.I replaced my terrible 15-yr old home-center steel core (copper plated) wire. I ensured there were no exterior fittings with the new wire. I didn't do any measurements between this and my old wire, but my OTA TV signal improved at least a bar if not two. Up to 5-bars now (including a boosted signal). Not bad given the location/trees/etc. But, again, my previous antenna wire was 18-ish yrs old, not great quality in the first place and had an exterior joint. Not really a fair comparison. We'll see how long the jacket on this lasts. But so far so good! I would definitely recommend.

Cut this up into multiple segments; consistently excellent cable
I used this to do an outdoor antenna install which necessitated a split from the antenna to the ground block, the ground block to the new wall plate, and the wall plate to the HD Homerun Flex network OTA tuner. For every cut the braid, foil, inner insulator, and PURE COPPER conductor was consistent and quality. I did probably 20 cuts getting used to the CIMPLE stripper and corresponding crimper and this product was high grade. On a pure quality note, l can tell you that as delivered to me October 2024, your search has ended. Buy this. Now.TL;dr section:I was having problems with an indoor antenna in an excellent reception area (an Antennas Direct 1MAX) because of the walls being of wire and plaster constructions. The cable i used was a WallyWorld copper coated, steel core 30' rg6 rated coax cable. Although reception was generally solid, with any rain my most important channels did not pull in consistently and went from a clear day reception strength of low 90s to mid 60s per Plex's software using the HD Homerun Flex tuner. Install was on an inclement weather day and just swapping this 100' pure copper cable (before any cuts were made; as delivered) bumped the aforementioned up to high 70s- low 80s despite the run length difference. Post exterior install with about 75' in use, I am seeing 100% signal strength on all local channels which can be it's own variety of problematic that is outside the scope of this review. The factory cable end was used at the antenna on the roof top and we have since had several bouts of rain since install. Upon disconnecting and inspection, no water intrusion has been observed so I feel the the factory connector has demonstrated it is indeed weather-ready with a couple of weeks in service. This is a great cable and if it is price competitive as you're reading this I would tell you to look no further.

Quality RG6 Coax and Easy to Work With
Early shipping. 75' RG6 double shield In a tight roll wrapped in plastic and it doesn't have a memory! After working out the coils and straightening it out it went limp. Perfect. It was installed 30' up a tower and 30' across the cellar and into the living room. No kinks and picture quality is excellent which I attribute to the shields and copper center conductor. There is a standard inner aluminum foil wrap but the outer shield appears to be tinned copper! The center conductor is solid copper. Nuff said. If you have a long run, quality coax is necessary to maintain a quality picture. I think CIMPLE coax is a quality product that's made in the USA.

Looks to be a well built cable
Looks like a quality cable w/ solid copper core that is needed for an amplified signal. Magnet wasn't attracted to the core wire.

Works but Connectors Hard Turning
Some review's have reported copper coated steel conductor but the cable I received has a solid copper core conductor. My only complaint is that the threaded ring is almost impossible to turn with your fingers. This makes it difficult to get started on the connector when screwing on. I believe the reason for the difficulty may be the friction with the rubber waterproofing ring. Overall it seems good and I would purchase again.

Antenna works now.
I bought a antenna that came with a coax cable, it had no markings. I know the indoor/outdoor antenna wasn’t the best one in the world. But it really struggled to get a station that was 23 miles from me on a clear day. And the closes station is 7 miles. On bad weather days, it’s signal was grainy and choppy. I ditched the generic coax and installed the 25 Cimple co rg6 coax with a Philips LTE filter. Signal strength on the 7 mile channel is almost maxed. The 23 mile away station is always over half signal strength. And I also pick up the local PBS station know.

Use full copper core if you use an amplifier.
I have a borderline station that seemed like it kept getting weaker. Every 3 or 4 years I'd upgrade or move my antenna and it would be good for a year or two. It turns out that the voltage at the preamp was dropping over time because the cable I used had a copper coated steel core. I installed this copper core and picked up 8 percentage points of signal without moving the antenna or making any other changes. This CIMPLE CO cable is a good value for copper core. Very happy I finally upgraded.
