Small but packs a punch! Love the fact that i can power my laptop thru power delivery port. All the functions work as should. Seems around an 8 or 9 out of 10 as far as quality and durability I do wish the cable was a bit longer it is a little on the short side. Might order a second as a backup or Throw in my laptop bag.

Was looking for an alternative HUB after having two Lenovo branded hubs die on me in just 3 months. Found this thing and purchased 3 of them. Once for a coworker and two for myself.Pros: - NO DRIVERS TO INSTALL! Works right out of the box on both Windows & Mac systems. - Plenty of I/O - HDMI, USB-C (for power), USB 3.0 Type A and flash card readers. - Tested with my Lenovo so 65w power delivery is no problem - Light Weight and small - great for travelCons: - Cheap feeling plastic / light weight - Travel durability is questionable as it doesn't feel like it could take a beating if you travel a lot. I could be wrong. Mine are for work & home use and rarely get unplugged. So keep that in mind. I'm sure it would be fine, especially if you use the included package it came with when transporting it. I'd protect it if traveling alot. - Generates a good amount of heat when going full throttle. When you have external drives, web cams going, etc... under normal regular use no heat at all. It's fine... only when really pushing it will it have some heat.Otherwise, I recommend this adapter as a go to for anyone with either Windows / Mac setups. Heck I might buy one more just to keep as a backup in case one of mine passes. But so far, 3 units purchased, all 3 working great.. I highly recommend it. A- for sure!

Already had black version fitted to a Google Chromecast TV Dongle on a non-smart TV to provide wired ethernet and extra USB storage. Got a different branded (more expensive) USB C Hub for second Chromecast TV device but didn't work with Google Chromecast TV although works well with laptops. So got this MCY 8-in-1 again and as with the prior one it worked perfectly with no issues with our second Google Chromecast TV. Didn't really want Rose Gold color but was all that was available. So now have two of these and both work with no issues in our use cases.

I purchased this product after looking for a usb-c hub with gigabit ethernet interface for my galaxy s21/dex. Samsung discontinued their rather expensive(at $99) usb-c hub with ethernet interface.As the price of this product is a fourth of Samsung's, so I gave a shot.For dex to work, this product should be powered through its usb-c port. Otherwise, screen mirroring mode will be kicked in instead of dex. There is no mentioning about it on the manual.My purchase point, gigabit interface works fine at good speed around 300 Mbps, not at 1 gigabit though (my surface pro does 1 gigabit with its usb-3.0 to ethernet adapter for the same gigabit line). I think it's galaxy s21's limit, not to this product.I noticed that the product became warm after connecting ethernet. I have never used other usb-c hubs. So I can't comment whether this product generate excessive heat or not with ethernet in use comparing other products.This product is satisfactory to me at the price as I am an occasional user for galaxy phone/dex.

I bought it since I didn't have HDMI port on my laptop. I have wireless keyboard and mouse. It saves the ports on my laptop!

This hub is great, the ethernet port is recognized as a 2.5Gbps port by my Mac. Full disclaimer however, I don't have a switch that supports that speed so cannot test if it's in fact capable. That said, gigabit connections fly on this dongle, USB ports are detected as 3.1 ports, which is good news, as I have 3.1 usb sticks and portable nvme disks to take advantage of that. So far while connecting my portable nvme I've been limited to around 900Mbps, but I know that is due to my anker portable case and not this dock because I get those speeds on all machines with my anker enclosure.

OVERVIEWThis product has a very nice look and feel. It’s not too light has metal housing, it does have a plastic port bezel but that really doesn’t take away from the build. As I said before this is my second purchase from this brand. I bought a similar product with a slimmer build which excludes the 4K and Ethernet jack, and it has worked great. Because it was not 4K it would not work with my ultra wide monitor. This newer one though works just great for ultrawide and for 4K. I am using this with a windows machine at work and have one here at home for my wife’s MacBook Air.PROS-Build Quality-Connectivity-Compatibility (it seems to just work)CONS-Color doesn’t match space gray-Port layout is messy for cable management (power should be located on the end with HDMI or with main usb bank) With everything plugged in you have wires coming out of all sides so it takes up some desk space just doesn’t look clean.I can’t think of any dealbreakers with this one, so really the color and layout could be better but the thing works. Oh it has nice packaging seems premium. I really hope to see them step up and beat out Anker with quality and price!! I normally only review products that I have trouble with and I tend to be critical in my evaluation but this is one of the few times that I feel the quality and value are above and beyond what I expect to find. Got this for a friend of mine who has an apple laptop without any ports except for 2xUSB-C. This adapter provides all the ports that any laptop SHOULD have. I have it set up for power delivery via USB-C plugin, wired LAN, HDMI for external monitor, and am using one of the standard USB ports for a trackball mouse. Everything works perfectly so far and it looks slick too. Very happy!

Me encanta lo pequeño que es, no ocupa ni molesta en absoluto.Cumple por completo con lo que promete y mas, la conectividad que ofrece es rapidísima, tanto la ethernet como la usb. Y no pierde nada de calidad en el hdmi. Repetiría seguro.

Ein sehr gutes Hub, was definitiv hält was es verspricht. Qualitativ sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und alle Anschlüsse funktionieren hervorragend. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!
