This is a well powered and great sounding little sub woofer. I am using it with an external 12V DC power supply in my garage and some old Bose 21 bookshelf speakers. For the size, it's incredible. The unit fits easily under my work bench and the high-level inputs provide a great variable volume level for the sub. The remote volume feature is great too, gives you control of the sub volume depending on content. Movies and music in the man cave really pop now! The only issue I have is the auto power on/off doesn't work but that's because my Technics receiver is sending a signal to it when off. But for the money it's a great sub.

First off my expectations weren't that this thing was going to go down the road shaking other peoples cars or scaring old people! Realistically I needed something to bring back the low end to my music as I drive a Jeep Wrangler JKU ( all the carpet removed from previous owner ) with 37" aggressive mud tires, with the top off and on the highway you couldn't even hear the radio. Problem solved! First off the stock stereo on jeeps aren't anything to test this thing with. (They are pretty cheap, useless head units.) That said, I won't have to run out and get a new stereo and replace the stock speakers right away. This little thing does everything I need it to. Huge improvement to the stock system. It's not going to impress anyone who's running amps and 15's, but this little thing surprised me, and for it's size and for the price you can't beat it. If you're looking for something to give you just a little more bass this will do just that. I listen to mostly hard rock and metal even with the blast beats this speaker hits pretty well. Haven't had any issues with it overheating, and I have taken it on several 4 hours trips blasting most of the way. Thought about adding a second one, but it's really not necessary , will see how much better this thing does when I update my stock system. But for now I'm happy with it.

Good little sub/amp combo. I’ve installed all different kinds in my personal vehicles over the years. I had to go with a low profile, compact version for my work truck. I turned all the dials to max and provides a really good thump. Downside to that is it will fault protect quicker at higher volumes. At nominal listening levels it hasnt fault protected on me yet. I did have it fault protect in about an hour when the volume is rather high. Keep in mind Im listening to hard rock/metal, song after song so the amp isnt getting much reprieve to cool down. Additional cooling may solve this problem, although i havent tried to confirm. Dont let that dissuade you though. Still a quality product for the price. Highly recommend.

This little guy is an excellent choice to upgrade any factory sound system without the hassle! It sounds amazing.

Why 3 stars? Overpriced,specs are just good on papers,real life results will vary,underpowered,of used in a modern car that uses android based or any new interfaces stereos setup will take you some time,sound quality fair,in other words,look for better options!

I bought this powered sub as a “downgrade” from my larger system. After an easy install and then quick tuning I was initially underwhelmed with this product, however after I took the extra time to really get the tuning locked in this thing is great. I have it under the driver seat of my 2012 Chevy Cruze and it does exactly what I want it to. It rounds out the low end very nicely and pairs with the door speakers well. It’s not going to rattle your windows but for the size/price I would say it over-performs. The only thing left to see is how long it will last.

Looks like an awesome sub, with cool features. But I wouldn't know because the speaker came in non-working condition, I wired it up to test, testing with a multimeter I has 12v Power going to the 12v+ Terminal, I tested the ground and everything was in order, Made sure to have everything on/ off according to the manual. Checked all fuses, fuses were intact and had power flowing. Still no lights, no sound, no sign of life. Would have been a good review but they don't check their products before shipping them.

This is a small compact subwoofer for someone who likes bass but doesn’t have the room for it this is the one to get. Sounds really good, easy to wire, well built.

This unit is wicked for the price. In my own opinion, you don't need anything more than this. I was skeptical since this was my first time going with a combo unit, but it kicks harder than donkey trying to jump a fence. If you're looking for a budget sound system this will not disappoint - guarenteed!
