After using Delfanti-Milano Retinol Pro Advance Day Cream for several weeks, I feel well-positioned to share some thoughtful feedback—what works really well, and where there’s room for improvement. What Stands Out Luxurious Texture & Sensation The cream is silky and rich without being heavy or greasy. It spreads easily across the face and neck, and absorbs in a way that leaves a subtle, comfortable barrier—not a slick film. A little goes a long way: a pea-sized amount covers both face and neck nicely, so despite it being a smaller 50 mL jar, it lasts for quite a while. Potent Active Ingredients Retinol: This is clearly one of the star ingredients. Over the weeks, I’ve noticed smoother skin texture, some reduction in fine lines, and slightly more even tone. Dead Sea Salts: An interesting addition — I believe they help with gentle exfoliation and mineral replenishment. My skin feels more grounded, and there’s a subtle calming effect. Vitamin B: This helps support hydration and the skin barrier. I didn’t experience redness or flaking, which sometimes happens with retinol products. Made in Italy There’s an intangible quality to the packaging and overall feel of the product that makes it feel more premium. The jar has a nice weight, the lid closes securely, and the cream feels very refined. Multipurpose for Face & Neck Many anti-aging creams neglect the neck, but Delfanti’s design makes it a natural part of the routine. I appreciate that, since the neck is often where signs of aging show. What Could Be Better No Pump Dispenser The jar packaging makes sanitation and product use less ideal than a pump. It’s harder to get out the exact amount you need, and you risk dipping fingers into the product — slightly inconvenient for a retinol treatment where hygiene matters. Potential Sensitivity Although I didn’t have major issues, retinol is retinol — it’s potent. For very sensitive skin, beginners might experience some mild irritation, especially if not used in conjunction with a gentle routine or sunscreen. Price Point Quality-wise, it feels very premium — but you pay for that. Depending on your budget, this might feel like a splurge compared to more mass-market retinol creams. Fragrance There’s a mild scent — not overwhelming, but present. If you’re extremely sensitive to fragrance, this is something to test carefully. Who This Is For Ideal For: Someone who already has some experience with retinol and wants a day cream that is both effective and elegant. People who care about premium formulation and enjoy a luxurious skincare feel. Users who want a multi-benefit product (anti-aging + mineral support) in one jar. Less Ideal For: Beginners who may need a very gentle retinol starter cream. Those who prefer pump dispensers for hygiene. Very budget-conscious consumers who might not want to invest in a higher-end formula. Final Thoughts Overall, Delfanti-Milano Retinol Pro Advance Day Cream is a beautifully formulated, effective anti-aging moisturizer that blends retinol with mineral-rich Dead Sea salts and vitamin B to support both skin renewal and hydration. It offers real results (smoother skin, reduced fine lines) with a luxurious experience — but comes with trade-offs in packaging and cost. If you’re looking to elevate your skincare routine with a refined, well-crafted retinol cream made in Italy, this is a very worthy contender.

The day this little Delfanti Milano jar showed up, my mom snatched it off the counter like it was a winning lottery ticket. She saw “Made in Italy” and “Retinol Pro Advance” and immediately announced that her skincare routine had become “European.” She even cleared a special spot on the bathroom shelf, right between her favorite perfume and the “fancy” hand soap we only use when guests visit. Here is the funny part. Weeks later, I keep studying her face in different lighting like I am conducting a clinical trial. To be completely honest, I have not noticed any dramatic changes. No years instantly erased, no movie style transformation. She still looks like my mom… just extremely pleased with herself. From her point of view though, this cream is doing a lot right: - She loves the texture. It is thick and creamy when she dips her fingers in but it sinks into her skin quickly without leaving a greasy film. That is a big win because she layers sunscreen and makeup over it and says everything sits nicely. - The scent is pretty light. She is sensitive to strong fragrances and this one does not bother her at all. It smells “expensive but not overwhelming” in her words. - Her skin feels softer and better hydrated. She keeps telling me to touch her cheeks to feel how smooth they are. I have been roped into more cheek poking than I ever expected as an adult child. - The packaging and “Made in Italy” label give her a real sense of luxury. It looks like something from a spa instead of a bargain bin, and for her that matters almost as much as the ingredients. On the downside: - Results are subtle so far. If you are expecting a retinol cream that will visibly change fine lines in a couple of weeks, this may feel more like a very nice moisturizer with potential long term benefits rather than an instant transformation. - The jar format means you are dipping your fingers in each time. My mom does not mind, but someone very strict about hygiene might prefer a pump instead. From my perspective, the biggest benefit is emotional. She genuinely enjoys using it every morning. It turns her usual rush to get ready into a small ritual. She smooths it on, talks about the Dead Sea salts and vitamin E like she is hosting a beauty show, and finishes with “of course it is made in Italy.” She is happy when she uses it, and that has value even if the changes are not obvious to the rest of us. If you want a retinol day cream that feels pampering, layers well under sunscreen and makeup, and makes your bathroom shelf look a little more upscale, this is a solid choice. Just keep your expectations realistic. Think “luxurious daily moisturizer with retinol and nice ingredients” rather than “instant fountain of youth.” In our house, my mom is thrilled with it and honestly, if it makes her feel that good about herself, I am pretty thrilled with it too.

After trying out the Delfanti Milano night cream (and loving it), I was eager to try this day cream. I’m a fan! It feels very rich but sinks in quickly, so you can go about your day and add makeup, etc. No greasiness at all, just hydrated skin. I have quite sensitive skin that reacts to certain ingredients and my skin had no issues with this cream. The glass bottle feels so luxe! Compared to some creams that are serious $$$, this feels like a great value and high quality product. I really enjoy the Olay day cream and I feel like this is a step above. Give it a go!
