Safe from brambles and thorns in these.
Bought these for clearing a back garden full of brambles and untouched for 20 years. These undoubtedly saved my hands and forearms many times. Unreservedly recommend.

Hole in fingertip after 3 wearings
I purchased these gloves to do yard work. I waited almost 4 weeks for them to be delivered. I received them May 17, 2018 and wore them over the May long weekend. By Sunday there was already a hole in the finger tip of the glove. For the price I thought I would have years of wear.

Well stitched just not as thick leather as I believe the quality should be
Neither rose nor salmonberry bush thorns are prevented from sticking your hands while using as the ones from Lee Valley are. Not send back but wouldn’t order again these particular gloves.

Must Have!

Excellent price....they run big.
Okay, so I didn’t use them yet. They are very soft, being goat skin I’m sure they are very tough. The gloves run large. I bought a small for my wife and they were long in the fingers. I tried them on and they fit me perfect. Bought an xsmall for her and they fit her perfect.I usually wear a medium so small worked for me. If they get soaked I believe all bets are off though. We use them primarily for cutting out invasive blackberry bushes. Goatskin has always worked best. In the past we bought bear hollow gloves but very expensive and quality has gone down on them. These were half the price of Bear Hollow gloves.
