Q: Do I need to hang this light?

Doesn’t NEED to be hung, but would be a good idea if it’s not for a portable set up. I just used mine sitting in a table and displayed on the far wall of the hall I was in. Lights danced all over a very large room.

Q: Would anyone know what size powerbank is needed to handle it while in use?

I used a 7500 mAh powerbank to test it and it worked for over 12 hours and only used half of the power available. Very efficient.

Q: How accurate is the music sync?

Pretty accurate but can be difficult to tell at times because there are so many different patterns being displayed at the same time.
