Not for hot stuff
Bought it for desserts, but it's not that kind of plastic. Will deform if you put hot stuff in it. In my case rice pudding.

Poor Quality
The quality is not as expected. This is the second time I buy this product, first time it was great, when I reordered from another seller it was below expectations. The seal that should support the lid in giving proper closure was missing, so you cannot use this for liquids.

Leak proof
These jars come with a Styrofoam disc to keep liquids from leaking...so far, so good, no leaks and I have used 12 of the 15 jars I ordered.
