Perfect for a recent camper conversion Used on 12v & solar systems to isolate if ever needed Been using this type for a few years now but only just found out the red dial can be removed for a slightly more secure isolation! - only works in the 'off' position, keep turning off about โ of a turn then pull the red knob off! Who knew?! ๐

Works well
It's good value for money and easy enough to install it seems durable enough but I wouldn't put it somewhere its like to get hit hard often. The only gripe I have with this is it's very easy to turn the switch the wrong direction so unless your looking or remember if you mount it somewhere that's not easy to get to it can get very annoying.

It is a two position switch only.
This is a good switch But, it is for a single 2 position switch on or off, it does not accommodate for the switching from one battery to another. To achieve that a 4 way switch is required, ie battery 1 position, battery 2 position, combined batteries position, and off position, it is visually a similar switch but will probably be more expensive and have the 4 positions marked on the face. Bolatus also make a 4 position switch as I have purchased one and it's worked well, always check the maximum amperage required and the maximum amperage load the switch is designed for.
