I love it, the best hsk book i've bought.

Just as described, it gives you the words for each HSK level, with the pinyin and one or two meanings for each. You get the 150 words for HSK 1, numbered 1-150, then you get the new words for HSK 2, numbered 1-150, then the 300 new words for HSK 3, numbered 1-300, and so on. The font size is about the same you'll find in the textbook for HSK, meaning rather small, but understandable. It's a very thin book. I like the quality of the paper and the presentation.

It's adequate for learning Chinese, but I can definitely use more vocab.

I found an error in the kindle format. 喝 on the kindle shows as the Japanese character and not the simplified. I just happened to check the stroke and so I discovered this error. I don't have time to verify every character. Apart from that this is perfect for what I wanted.

This is a very well presented listing of the HSK vocabulary. An earlier review slated it as 'just words, no examples, or exercises.' and that is true. However if, as I was, you are looking for a clear and comprehensive listing then this book is exactly what you need. Of course, it is only useful as part of a wider selection of resources, but I appreciated the fact that this lists the words at a readable size, well spaced, and well bound. For the money I found it good value.

This is exactly what I was looking for. In simple terms, this is the syllabus for the complete HSK exams. It's is compact and contains just what is required for you to succeed in the HSK series of exams.
