Small hepa filters can stop up and lose suction in a minute or 2. does this vacuum have strong suction after vacuuming for a few minutes?

I have vacuumed fine dust, pvc saw dust and general house clean up. It keeps on sucking until the receptacle is obviously full enough to empty..

Can i use any dewalt 20v battery? i have 2 ah, 5 ah and 6 ah. all have same connection type. can all these be used?

As long as its a DeWalt "20V" battery, it can be used. Be aware: the LOWER the amp-hour ("AH") rating, the SHORTER the maximum run time you'll get. This isn't a real problem if you use the vacuum in "brief spurts" (i.e., "spot" cleaning); it becomes a "problem" if you leave it on for "LONG" periods (i.e., MINUTES at a time). IMO, If you're a "long use" person, that 6AH pack should last (at least) 20+ minutes before needing recharging.
