Ive used it once so far to make shrimp onigiri when i had some extra cooled off dinner rice. It fits in nicely with the other kitchen equiment, very small. Very proud of how easy my little cullinary experience was to clean up afterwards.

This will work but it's very flimsy and easy to break or warp in the dishwasher

Most of these type molds have you press mix into the mold, then you have to flip it over to get the cake to drop out. I like these much better. I can lay plastic wrap down, press the mix into the mold atop the plastic wrap, and then lift the mold up and push the cake out. Much better for me than the more common closed end molds you have to flip. Did a bunch of Thai fish cakes. Other molds were more tedious the get the cakes to release, and some would break. These new molds that push thru, however, worked much better, with every cake easily ejected and perfect
