Worship Piano

The book has some nice musical examples of the style. I do prefer Mark Harrison's style of teaching though - he introduces simple concepts and builds on them. This is a very intuitive way of learning and is fantastic for developing a musical vocabulary, in my humble opinion.I purchased this book because entry level material in this style isn't easy to come by. I just wish the book had a little more depth as I'm sure the author, being a talented musician himself, has much musical knowledge to share.

Just love the simplisity and clarity of this book. I am playing very beautiful music due to Bob's book. A grat companion to 'Gospel piano ' by Kurt Cowling.

All the Hal Leonard Style Series books are top notch. They really do give you the essence of each style. Highly recommended.

This book is amazing. Being a classical piano player I knew what chords were about, but when I sat down at the piano I didn’t know how to begin to learn how to play for church. This book is super easy to understand and also very thorough. I would highly recommend this book.
