This is awesome! My battery that came with the Fatsharks goggles was a 1000mah battery. If I did not fly for a few days that battery would go dead. Now with this, I charge up my Samsung INR18650-30Q 3000mAh and it seems like I have unlimited power. I do not charge my batteries through this devices because you can't do a balance charge (not that you need to balance charge all the time). Also, these batteries are unprotected so they can accidentally get over charged. I purchased a Li-ion charger that will charge the batteries correctly. I have seen people add a wire to activate the balance port correctly but it's just as easy to pop the batteries in my charger. Plus I rather leave my charger for my flight batteries.

It worked for what I wanted it for. It was my go-to when I used Fatshark goggles as the bix fits the goggle strap perfectly. I already had a bunch of 18650 cells, so this was a cheaper option than buying a 'goggle battery.' I did like the fact that it comes with the 'balance' adapter to run the goggle fan. I also liked the LED level indicator lights. However, after just 10-12 times of opening the battery compartment, the latch broke and I ended up having to tape the door shut.

I bought this as I was tired of stuffing flight batteries in my pocket to power my Skyzone V+ goggles. I also forgot the power cord on a couple of events and had to borrow fatshark batteries so I could race. I liked the idea of the Fatshark battery on my Skyzone strap as it is hard to forget it when I'm heading to an event. Others are buying 18650 batteries and soldering on power leads and balance ports to get longer flight times. This to me is MUCH better as there is no soldering involved. I just pop in two freshly charged 18650's and I'm good all day. If I drain the batteries, I just pop in my spares that have been sitting for a week and I'm good to go for much longer. Others complain that they don't like the idea of having to charge the 18650's?!? Makes no sense as the 18650 chargers are cheap, besides it's a battery you charge many every time you want to fly?!? The added bonus is the battery checker that is implemented it the Fat Shark case. So far no downsides to buying this as it is AWESOME.

It fits flat top 18 650 sells perfectly. Works as described. Button top cells require a little modification to the springs. Just use some pliers and squish them down and it will close on you perfectly.

Battery lasts forever with two 18650s in here and saves you from having to accumulate extra batteries with those odd barrel plug connectors. The 18650 batteries are becoming increasingly common for flight batteries and flashlights so are cheap and really availably online. The ability to check how much charge is in the battery pack by pressing the check light on the side is also awesome. My only issue is that the pack is heavy.

Great price fairly durable except power plug wire is weak this is my second one in about a 1-1/2 years I assumed this should last longer other than that issue its great wouldn't recommend until they fix this. PS there is a mod for installing your own power plug just google it thanks!
