I bought the black tourmaline beads. They came in a black bag. The tassel was straight. The knots are tight. Perfect for my everyday mantra practice

Beautiful and well-made; the carnelian appears to be clearly authentic, unlike those dyed fake-y pseudo-carnelian offerings one sees all over the place. The tassel arrived a bit frizzy, due to being packed tightly, but this is easily rectified by wetting it (and the quality shows here too: no dye escapes!) and hanging vertically until dry.

This rose quartz mala is delicate, elegant and beautiful. The tassle arrived all crinkled and messed up, but after advice from their customer service I managed to straighten the threads and now it's perfect. I love it!

My lapis lazuli mala is absolutely beautiful. These beads give me a deep sense of equanimity and peace when I meditate.I got mine hand knotted and it is definetly done by hand. It is a little long and some of the beads are a little loose, but that is how you know this mala is made with intention and love. Namaste.

Who knew Amazon would have the perfect Lapis Lazuli Buddhist Prayer Beads Japa Mala. The beads are a nice size and they have some weight.

I bought the amethyst version and as soon as I opened the bag I noticed the tassel was severely frayed. The material used for the tassel is stuff so it's wirey and all over the place, unlike the smooth tassels you would find in higher end bead sets. For $58 you'd think it would be nicer.The beads are almost black, but look like a deep purple in the light only. The beads don't move at all for each prayer. They are stiffly knotted so tightly that it feels like bumps and not beads.The weight was decent however. I cannot vouch for their amethyst authentication, but I will have a friend examine them and update my review.

Had to return the first one because the cord was frayed. Replacement was good. I like these beads also.
