This is a very good quality suitcase. It was the first hard case that I've bought. For the most part, I am satisfied, but I wish I had known a couple more bits of information before I purchased. If you are also buying YOUR FIRST HARD CASE, read these IMPORTANT TIPS. TIP #1: This case closes with a ZIPPER ONLY. It does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, you do will have a latch as a backup method to keep your case closed and you may find your self in a predicament when you need to check your broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, if you buy this case, be sure to also buy luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep your case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. When buying luggage straps, write your initials on each strap with a permanent marker. This will not only help identify your bag in a busy airport, but also make the straps less desirable for thieves. TIP #2: I bought the (very large) 28-inch version of this case because I wanted to have plenty of space to pack for long international trips. In hindsight, I wish I had bought a size or two smaller because filling up a case this big with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put you over the airline weight limits (and be very heavy to lift). The case is very light, but I can only fill it up about 75% to avoid paying the "excess weight" fees. With the case being 25% empty, I have lots of open space in the bag and my belongings bounce around inside. When I arrive at my destination, I often find my loosely packed belongings out of order and disheveled. For my next suitcase, I will buy something a tad bit smaller so I can fill 90% or 100%. When filled to 90-100%, my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside.

The colour is true to the picture on Amazon, a nice turquoise and the grainy styled exterior is attractive and not mat.Though incredibly light, it survived the dreaded airport carousel without a mark. The inside is split into two equal halves, which makes packing much easier. There is a net on one side which stops things falling out. I bought the nest of three which come packed inside each other, useful for tight storage. There’s a second handle on the side to aid lifting up stairs etc. Much better quality than the Winfield 3 set I bought previously which marked badly but hasn’t yet dented. The micro-diamond textured shell stood up very well to its maiden voyage and I wish it was made for the U.K. market, instead of having to pay import duty. However it’s still great value.

Estuve varias semanas viendo distintos modelos de maletas para ver cuál me convenía más y finalmente me decidí por el modelo Omni de Samsonite y tengo que decir que no estoy nada arrepentido.Compré el set de 3 y estoy muy feliz porque tengo todos los tamaños que pudiera necesitar.Le veo muchos pros a esta maleta.1. Se siente increíblemente ligera.2. A pesar de ser ligera, el material se siente muy duro.3. La textura del material hace que no se raye con facilidad.4. Estéticamente es una maleta muy bonita y viene en muchos colores.5. Las ruedas se sienten de buena calidad.Los contras que le veo1. Al ser maleta dura no tienes muchas bolsas o compartimentos (solamente el espacio interior)2. La caja llegó muy maltratada (el producto no estaba dañado ni nada, pero la caja se fue directo a la basura)3. No es tan claro el mecanismo del candado.En conclusión, el producto a grandes rasgos es fenomenal. Habrá que ver con el uso continuo si el material se desgasta muy rápido, pero a simple vista se ve muy resistente el material.Para ajustar la combinación del candado:1. Aprieta el botón para abrirlo. (Viene ajustado a 000)2. Con algo puntiagudo (un lápiz o una pluma) presiona el botón que se encuentra del lado contrario a los números3. Selecciona tu combinación.4. Presiona el botón lateral para abrir el candado (esto fija la combinación)5. Listo

I bought this luggage in July 2018 based on other “good” reviews. I am so disappointed in this luggage set. I travel internationallly for work and my first trip where I used the luggage, the handle on the medium sized bag broke off. First leg of my 3 week business trip. Talk about inconvenient!! I have had many pieces of second hand luggage, they have never broken and I finally “invested” in a “good” set. So now I have the large luggage piece and the small luggage piece. I expected better quality from Samsonite :( I will add a photo once I am home, however I am sitting in an airport in China, after visiting 3 cities in China, Cambodia, and Thailand. All with my new broken Samsonite suitcase :(

Excelentes maletas, resistentes, fáciles de manejar y llevar juntas. Yo llevo las dos maletas grandes en una mano y la pequeña en la otra junto con mi laptop. Las ruedas no se atoran y obedecen tus movimientos.La maleta pequeña es para carry on incluso para aerolíneas que tienen políticas para carry on pequeños.
