I changed my mind and decided to update review.I do like the bigger space on one side of this for my hair, which is longer, however I do not like the other side for beard or hair. So, I've adjusted stars to four insted of one!

EXTRAORDINARY customer service. The USPS damaged my comb in transit and Viking Revolution immediately fixed the problem. I've used Amazon for MANY years and never left a review. But this comb and the product support team at Viking Revolution warrants the HIGHEST recognition. And no, I'm not sponsored by Viking Revolution and I don't know anybody that works for them. I just think you deserve to know the truth about a quality product you probably need more than you think. The comb: I, like you, didn't think a comb could be a game changer. A comb is a comb, right? WRONG! This comb lays my beard down exactly how I've always wanted. Not only does it stream effortlessly thru my beard without getting snagged, it also evenly disperses beard oil if you're looking for that perfect layer of healthy shine. The size: Most combs require an awkward grip to hold while you're bracing yourself for that painful snag as you go thru your beard. Not this comb! It fits comfortably in the hand. No snags. It actually FEELS good to use. I can't say the same for most other beard combs I've used in the past. The build quality and case: I travel internationally a lot and small things tend to make the biggest differences. In this case, the comb includes a stylish black slip-case with the Viking Revolution logo engraved (3-D stamped) in it. The comb also has a simple but stylish engraved-type stamp on it. The comb alone is worth more than the price here. But the classy style of the case and the design of the comb takes it to GAME CHANGING territory. In a nutshell: I'd be a little reluctant to brush my beard in public with most combs. It can be a little tacky. However, I wouldn't hesitate to pull my Viking Revolution comb out of its case and give my beard a quick brush in public. It doesn't snag, looks classy, and makes a bold but classy statement.

I'll be completely honest, this comb is not terrible. However, when I got a feel for my brothers beard comb, which is made out of sandalwood, I immediately felt in love. It was solid, durable, smelt fantastic (due to natural sandalwood scent) etc. This comb however is not like my brothers. It's very light, which makes me think that it can break easily if you're not careful (some reviews here actually show pictures of broken comb), and it appears to have some type of clear coating, which I am not a fan of. So I think overall it's not a terrible comb bit it's not a fantastic comb either. If you like a lightweight, non scented comb this is for you, but if you're like my and really enjoy the natural scents of woods such as sandalwood, then you made want to try another comb. I bought a beard comb AND brush from a brand called "Peter's Beard" for less than $9 dollars and I am very satisfied. And they have the option to just buy the comb by itself for about $7 dollars, basically the same price as this Viking brand comb. Finally, I want to say that I still have the Viking comb and like it as well, just not %100 satisfied.
