Worth it to keep on the truck
Great for servicing chrome Flushometers. Highly recommend. Bought a cheaper set that was no where near the quality of these. The long jaws are thin enough to be workable when fittings are close to a wall. The set locks open but slides in easy for a rapid adjustment then holds position.

good tool
There are a couple of things going for it.It's a unique tool with the largest smooth jaw pliers wrench jaw capacity of 3 inches/78 mm.No other tool, including Knipex can do it.It's got very nifty way of adjusting the jaw down by just pushing the handle, without depressing the button. It makes so much easier to adjust the jaw opening to suit.Awesome feature, Knipex doesn't have it.Of course, it's a plumber tool, I don't see someone using this for a car or truck repairs. This is a great addition to the plumber's tool bag.

Widest jaws, biggest grip. Not as posh as the others, but what a reach!
This appears to be a well made tool, and with its long jaws, which can open very wide, it reaches places that would be a struggle for almost all other tools. That said, the quality isn't as good as some. After only a few uses, there is marring on the bearing surfaces, even when the jaw faces are themselves unmarked. There is quite a bit of flex, so when gripping hard on something with the tips, it is possible to see a few mm of movement at the base of the head, but not at the tip - so they don't stay that parallel. The inevitable comparison to the Knipex range of pliers wrenches has to be made. The Lenox wins in terms of compactness for the size of jaw, and the jaws are slender, allowing access where the equivalent Knipex would struggle. But the quality of the Lenox clearly doesn't match the Knipes: the flexing of the jaws is much greater in the Lenox, and the marring of the bearing surfaces in the Lenox means the tool's longevity won't be nearly so good. But that reach is phenomenal. Pushing staples home on an upholstery job was a breeze, and well beyond what all but the largest ridiculous-sized (and ridiculous-priced) knipexes could handle, in something that is quite compact. Forgive the flexing. Accept the fact that they're not quite as pro-grade as a more expensive tool, ane enjoy.
