I find myself saying "I love this car seat" often! Being in an enclosed carrier was giving my pup major anxiety, and being enclosed made the whole experience of puppy car sickness very upsetting, so we needed an open car seat and harness option. This seat is like a bed, and she loves it. I use the built in strap AND a doggy car seat strap, and she is very secure and comfortable. She is long for her weight (currently about 15 or 16lbs and about 20" from neck to butt, somewhere between 24-28" stretched out) so I needed something on the larger side that was a little flexible (no hard or tall walls.) This is perfect as you can see from the pics. She is very comfortable in it.I love the pockets on both sides. I store her leash there and a little pop out water bowl (for emergencies)I do wish it were water resistant. She does still have some puppy car sickness and though cleaning is easy (we machine wash and hang dry the cover and it's come out good as new), the foam does get saturated and it would be a god design upgrade if the material had some water resistance to it to protect the foam from accidents.The strap that goes around the center of the chair is a little long, which I get, it needs to be adjustable to different vehicle builds. I tie the straps in a half knot before connecting the straps, creating a loop. I can hook a bungee cord to the loop and around the head rest of the seat. It feels a lot more secure this way!I'm very happy with this purchase! It's for sure the right style and function for us!

I got this to replace one my dog outgrew. It goes together so easily, and is very soft and comfortable for him. It’s hard to find a larger safety seat as most are for dogs smaller than 20 pounds. This one gives him ( 29 pounds) enough room to lay down and rest. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my 12 years old Spanish Rat Terrier. This is the perfect size for him; he is 22lbs and has more than enough room to move around, with room to spare. The car bed took like 3 mins to assemble from the packaging. It is very easy to install in the car, takes less than 60 seconds. My pup jumped right in and instantly started to get comfortable. He can go to sleep and prop his head up on the side pillows. There is a little clip to fasten the dog’s harness to the bed, as a type of seat belt. He has all the maneuverability of the seat, but now it is even more comfortable. One of the best buys for my dog.

I don’t know what I received compared to everyone else but this was a hot mess of a waste of money and time! Ours came with so many strings hanging off it when I clipped off 20 I decided that was enough, considering I could see it was also already coming apart. It was mis-sewn in the front. One side angled in a “U” shape to allow the dog easy entrance but the other side was just straight-the 2-sides didn’t match as you can see in the pic. I know the inserts are going in the bed and won’t be seen, but I still didn’t think that was reason for them to come filthy with actual dirt and stains on them. In the last picture you can see how thick the “cushion” for you dog is. What a joke, and yes that is after the 24 hours they suggest to wait for expansion. And if that’s not enough, it cam missing the front insert. Maybe I got a returned item, not sure, but it came all sealed in this small tube that is packaged so tight it took 20 minutes to open because you are trying to be so careful not to cut into the fabric. If this is what to expect on these car seats I pass, and so should you!

Got this a little over a week and it has been doing great. My corgi loves it. She automatically goes to her seat when we get in the car. Easy to assemble. Took me 15 mins but remember to let the foam breathe before you put everything together.
