Take the bike out of the winter chill
I have a pair of "wind" mittens that were from my running days. There is plenty of room on them to fit over normal cycling gloves. In the cooler temps they do a great job in blocking the wind. That is most of the battle for me. My hand tend to run hot. Recently I loaned these to a friend an I was without a pair for myself. I saw this Gore clamshell gloves on closeout, at a ridiculously low price. At the price it was impossible to pass up.I sized up twice. Firstly because I has long fingers and most gloves I do need to size up, else some of my fingers are often jammed at the tips. I sized up twice on these also because I wanted the possibility of wearing padded cycling gloves under them.My initial reaction is they feel great. That have more insulation that I expected. So much, that I think i need a pretty cold day before I try them. The touchscreen ability does work, but its hard to be precise with them. So that feature is a bit ..mehPro:- great bright yellow color- touch screen friendly- clamshell exterior, partial individual finger slots inside- very soft inside- semi insulatedCons:- they run small, so size up- minimal if any paddingSize: I would recommend to size up 1 or even two sizesWould I recommend to other: YesWould I purchase again: Yes

Nice mittens
I like these. Rode this morning for 90 mins in 31deg and kept my fingers warm. Only issue is that they sell them as being able to use with a smart phone which isn’t really true. Your fingers are so big that you can’t do much other then open the Lock Screen

Good gloves, a little thin.
The gloves are good for biking on mildly cold days. They're not great in the bitter cold, below 25F or so. They block wind on the back of the hand, but it seems through the thumb and palm.

Great product!
I have poor peripheral circulation and my hands get too cold during Fall and Winter rides. I tested these out today in 40F windy and rainy weather. Hands were warm and dry for the entire ride.

Excellent gloves
These gloves are excellent for cold weather cycling. Soft, warm, waterproof, breathable. My hands get cold quickly on the bike. I use bar mitts/pogies a lot. These gloves keep me just as warm. They work great on drop bar bikes, especially with hydraulic brakes that can be operated with just your index finger.

Nice gloves for winter rides
I was skeptical at first …Got a few rides when the temperature was in the low 30 F. Now I can enjoy riding my bike even in the winter. Thanks!

Great Mittens with one flaw.
Almost perfect, Very warm on cold rides down in the 20-30’sF. The only problem is the dividers that separate the fingers. It would be warmer and a little more comfortable if they weren't there.

No better than discount store ski gloves
I bought these for winter cycling because I thought the mitten style would keep my hands warmer since my fingers would be together. I tried them out on a cold night, 25 degrees F where I wasn't cycling, just directing traffic at an event. Even with liner gloves, my fingers got cold. Not a good sign. I then wore them without the liners for a 22 mile bike ride with temps starting around 40, dropping to 32 by the end of the ride. Thumb and forefinger were very cold, with the rest somewhat cold. There is very little insulation at the end of the thumb and forefinger which is where you need it the most. My $15 Walmart ski gloves work just as well for keeping my hands warm. If you are riding short distances in 40 degrees F+ temperatures, they are OK. Anything longer or colder, you will have cold fingers. For the price, I cannot recommend these.
