Dakine Campus Premium 28L Backpack

I ordered this in the 28L black Ripstop fabric, and it’s perfect! The material feels high quality; there’s a compartment for everything; the inside feels spacious; the laptop sleeve is padded; the shoulder straps and back panel are nicely padded; there’s a chest strap to keep it securely in place on your back; and it’s the perfect size for my husband, who likes to travel with a backpack and slide it under the seat on a plane. We really like the front pocket with the top zipper for quick access to essentials while traveling and the secret zipper pocket on the back panel. I’m really pleased with the weight of the backpack, too; it’s pretty lightweight. (We tried a couple North Face backpacks and they were like 2-3 lbs without anything even in them. They just felt too heavy. You don’t want extra unnecessary weight if you’re trying to prevent back pain.)Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase! Would definitely recommend!

This black dakine backpack is the perfect bag for work and travel.-Perfect size, not too big or too small. Can fit work lunch, 18 oz and 32 oz Yeti tumblers, umbrella, and wallet for everyday work needs-For traveling, the size when fully packed can still fit under the airplane seat. Was able to pack 2 tablets, a surface, headphones, phone powerbank, book, Yeti tumbler, sunglasses, wallet, and a light jacket.-lightly padded tablet or laptop compartment-zippered glasses compartment at the very top so you don’t damage them.-small zippered compartment at the very front also has zippered pockets inside which is great for travel. You can keep car keys, plane tickets, etc in a safe spot-I like the minimal aesthetic. No frilly or ostentatious designs. Just practical and works well as a professional work bag.-I like that there aren’t a lot of straps or long dangling straps. Those appear messy and get stuck on things especialy when traveling. No waist belt but that’s expected since this is not a hiking pack.-Exterior side pocket fits a 1 liter water bottle with ample room.Dakine backpacks last years for me. I have had 2 other Dakine backpacks for 15 years or more and they never ripped or had zipper failures. This one is my go to now because of the versatile size, multiple interior zippered compartments for organization and safety, and clean look.

I seriously love this backpack so much. I have to confess too, I’m **extremely** picky when it comes to anything sewn. I’ve done a ton of research and was picking between a million different kinds of backpacks.If you’re looking for something that you could use for work, a weekend trip, and just out for fun, this is perfect. I was specially looking for something that was spacious (28+ liters), but lightweight. Durable, but easy to throw in the wash too. And good fabric and craftsmanship. Also the skateboarding vibes. This is all of those things!!I also bought this to replace an extremely old Dakine I had 10 years ago. I really like their designs because of the lightweight but ergonomic backpack straps. They also have excellent pockets that are logical in design, much better than the regular Campus backpack in opinion. Also has a dedicated laptop sleeve!Highly recommend, definitely recommend it 😊

The Backpack is stylish, durable, and well-organized. With a padded laptop sleeve, insulated cooler pocket, and comfortable straps, it’s perfect for school, work, or travel. A great everyday choice! I am very happy with this choice.
