Can I use this to cook Japanese hot pot, such as nabe, sukiyaki (the one-pot meals)? Or is the temperature not high enough?

I don't know anything About cooking those kinds of meals. But the temperature does get extremely hot. The whole crock pot is hot-you must use oven mitts when handling it. I warn my kids to stay away from this crock pot & not try dish their own food from it cuz it's that hot. Not sure if this helps-hope it helps.
