I purchased this because my previous bottom bracket was rattling and was shaving metal everywhere. Turns out this was the first time I've ever found out that you need to replace a bike's bottom bracket (I rode the bike for 3 years without replacing it!). Anyways the product is great and it spins really smooth and the grease is really good. The bearings I believe will last a very long time just keep away from water. In fact this product spins much smoother than my old road bike's bottom bracket. I would recommend it since it's easy to install (considering if you have correct tools) and my pedaling feels much more efficient and smoother. I've only rode for 10 miles but I'll come back to let all of you know how it has handled after a while.

With some of the lower end shimano BB's reaching toward the $50 range I tried this while rejuvenating a bike for my growing son. Came quickly turns smoothly- seems heavier than others Ive used in the past. Is this for a pro racer- no but to get a bike on the road cheaply it will work just fine. Longevity is an unknown but seems well made. Installed without issue - Just order the size you need- I needed 68x122.5 to use with the crankst I ordered and it works fine allowing me to set up front derailleur

Easy install. Works great with my old 1/8th inch fixed gear cranks. Just add a little lube to the threads so they don't seize, which is what brought me here in the first place, lol.

Smooth bearing and easy to install

Bought this to replace a completely destroyed bottom bracket on an 18" department store bmx I bought for $5. Nothing mind blowing to it other than my kid will actually be able to pedal his bike now and you can't beat the price. I suggest taking your old one off first and measuring it. I was a few mm short with the new one but it still worked.

I got this for a 1990s Cannondale M500 because the original, standard type bottom bracket finally died - mostly from lack of maintenance. This is a completely sealed unit requiring zero maintenance and will outlive the rest of the bike at this point. It is hard to find a Suntour XCE triple/square taper of the appropriate length to support the chain line. This fit the bill and seems to work great.
