Great buy
This heater/ aircontioner is for my store. We don’t have a furnace & our old one died. It came right in time & was easy to set up.

After 4 years, compressor won't start
I've had my 10,000 BTU unit for a little over 4 years. It seems like a nice machine, and it definitely makes ice-cold air. Or... it used to. However, I was a bit disappointed with its performance overall. At 10,000 BTU, it should handle an area up to 450²ft. Mine was servicing a single enclosed 14' x 20' room, which is only 240²ft, and it just barely kept up during the summer months. The last couple of years here in central Texas, we had some long stretches of over-100° days (there were times when we'd see 108°F for weeks at a time -- it was HOT y'all!). During those times, this unit ran non-stop, but barely kept the space below 80°F. I know temperatures like that can be a challenge for any air conditioning system, so expecting it to keep a room ice-cold when it's over 105° outside isn't entirely fair. But still, I intentionally selected a unit that was designed for a space much larger than what I had for exactly this reason. But that isn't the reason for the three-star review -- not by itself, anyway. The main reason is that this unit, although well-maintained (I kept the filter clean, and the unit is very clean overall), has stopped cooling after just 4 years. Everything appears to operate normally, but the compressor never starts up. I can hear the relay inside clicking, so it's definitely trying to run the compressor, but I hear no other noises at all (so the compressor itself isn't even trying to run). I even let it sit for a few hours, unplugged, hoping to give something inside some time to settle (perhaps a pressure or temperature safety switch or whatever), but it made no difference. So at this point, it's just a fan. I have the tools and skills necessary to disassemble the unit to diagnose (and possibly repair) the unit, so it's not a total loss for me. Overall, the unit worked "good enough" over the past 4 years, but I'm disappointed that it didn't last longer before something failed.

So far so good
First off, the sleeve recommended for this unit is the wrong sleeve. Made it work anyway. Unit is in and cooling fine. Noticed no drip or water/condensation drainage. The only thing I figured out, with no way to contact "Keystone", was to remove the seemingly useless device pictured. Some type of plunger that is very hard to push in by hand. No wiring to it, just mounted to the bottom of the unit casing with the rubber tip covering a hole. Removed this and water drains out from the holes. Any info from Keystone would be appreciated.
