I really only bought this because I needed the knob. Idk where the knob ran off to or if it broke. But this item does seem exactly like the one in my 2015 VW Passat, so I'm happy.

i bought this to replace factory broken unit. this unit is not as hardy as the original and when you turn the knob I grit my teeth in hoping the knob does not snap.

Works perfectly

This product was very cheaply made and it does not fit in properly so know there’s a very noticeable lip around it instead of being flush like it supposed to be. If the knob came off or just came as a knob that would have been much better than this cheaply made garbage

This product works...but just barely. My hope is that it will function until I can get a genuine Volkswagen replacement. It will not fit without sanding one of the posts and even then, it isn't right. The mechanism is poppy and cheap. It is no where near the quality of the original. The only reason that I didn't return it was to show my wife that you have to be careful about ordering automotive parts online due to quality issues. She found it and ordered it, so now she lives with it until I can get her a nice one.

Bought for my son’s 2012 Passat. Was super easy to pop the old one out and the new one right in. Great value for the money and looks identical to the one replaced

Took a little bit of modifying to fit a 2012 VW Passat. Once it was in it works great.

For some reason it would not fit.I had to sand the opening to make it fit.Other than that, it was perfect match in every way.Still worth the money.
