First of all, I don’t understand all the complaints. This is an $11 drum... what is everyone expecting? I read the reviews and could see that people’s expectations were way too high so I ignored them. Usually I make my mind up based on reviews. I’m glad I didn’t. It arrived quickly, and it is adorable. The holders for the drumsticks are perfect- because we all know how easily children’s toys get lost. My daughter absolutely loves this toy. She just turned one in May, and loves to drum on everything from a box she sees, to the toilet seat 🤣 now she has her own drum and she loves it. I don’t know what the complaints are about the sound- the only sound it makes is your child’s hands hitting the drum. There are no special features, no lights or sounds, and that is just fine. It is a simple, cute, well made toy. It helps with her motor skills to pick the drumsticks up and learn how to use them. It’s the cutest thing watching her dance to her drumming. There are also stripes going down the sides of the drum, where the child can run the drumstick up and down and listen to the sounds it makes. Another great way to help with her fine motor skills. If your child likes to bang and drum on things, I highly recommend this toy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. People ought to read the description a little closer and not complain when they get exactly what the product description says.

This is a great quality toy. Simple, inexpensive and lots of fun for my one year old granddaughter. She can play with either side of the drum and even use the textured sides of the drum to make other sounds. Definitely recommend.

Got for my toddler grandchildren. Makes a nice lower drum beat grandma can handle. Putting together a music chest.

The sound is great and this drum is very durable with drums to both sides.

All plastic which is great for durability and easy cleaning, my daughter loves it. My only complaint is the drum surface is a plastic that doesn't make the traditional drum sound instead it just sounds like your hitting plastic

My baby really likes this one. Helped him learn to do something with both hands at the same time. Hold each drumstick and alternate hitting the drum. At first he could only use one so it was fun and helped him learn a new skill!

Bought this gift for my nephew, so he makes some noise :) Hope my brother is ok with that, LOL.

I’m in love with this drum set! My baby's occupational, physical, and speech therapists all used it to encourage her to drum. I rushed home, scoured Amazon, and ordered it in a flash. Now, my baby is a mini drummer, rocking out every day! The sound quality is nice and loud!
