Book was not New
When the seller of an item is named Only New Books you would assume that is what you are getting. Overall the book looks and feels new, but several recipes are heavily overwritten with someone else's annotations on doubling the ingredients or changing the directions. One recipe has an entire lengthy step drawn through with arrows meaning to skip that step and go to the next one below. The person who made the notations has lovely handwriting and used a very hard mechanical pencil, but this means it is not a new book. I'll keep the book as I love the author and his style of cooking, but it is not a new book!

Enjoyable cookbook
I have made several recipes out of this book, about half of them have worked 100% successfully, and 90% were still delicious even though they didn't come off quite right. My only outright fail was the falafel, which I will try again using dry chickpeas. I like the premise of delicious, healthful foods and there are some interesting flavor combinations that I've never tried before, and I'm enjoying trying new things. Due to the author being Irish, I was expecting lighter takes on Irish food, however, these recipes are from all over the map. Some ingredients have proved a little tricky to track down, but overall I am enjoying experimenting with this book.

It's Fun to Learn to Cook
I loved all the recipes in this book, which I am sharing with my 13 year old grandson, who loves learning to cook. The menus are easy to follow and very clear, even have a little of the humor which makes Donal's videos so easy to follow!

Refreshing book full of slight twists on classic vegetarian and healthy dishes - love the easy introduction of asian, indian, and eastern flavours and short recipe lists. Nice to see that a good handful of the meals are servings for 2 or 1, not 4 or 6 which usually distorts the recipe when you have to halve it. I also loved the repetition of ingredients - I feel like I could buy a handful of ingredients and make several of these dishes. If you feel like every cookbook has a variation of the same recipe, this is a pleasant surprise.

Simple, tasty recipes
I've made a bunch of the healthy simple recipes in this book and enjoyed them all. Donal uses lots of spices and is not shy about using them, I love it. Thanks for keeping them simple and easy Donal!

Easy, healthy and delicious
Easy, healthy and delicious... What more can you ask for... The Harissa baked eggs, roast chickpea, carrot, mint and halloumi salad and the squah tagine are some of my favourites

I highly recommend this book.
I have been a fan of Donal's for awhile, so was really excited to recieve this delicious book. His recipes are easy to understand, simply to follow, and I love that there are images available for each recipe. I highly recommend this book.

Nice refreshing ideas
The recipes are nice and tasty and fullOf all he healthy topical choices that are in the headlines at the moment. Slightly disappointed by the finish of the book I felt the chapters were just a little unfinished and maybe could have had greater variety. The recipes are not as good as in his other books but still nice healthy selection.Worth trying if you are looking to change up or brighten up your current food choices

Perfect summer food
So many versatile recipes, I've made 3 of the salads and one of the noodle dishes. All really good, going to try a Dahl next.

The recipes are what I was looking for, and the ones I've tried so far have been fairly easy and seem healthy. I thought this was a vegetarian only cookbook for some reason but it does have meat/fish based recipes as well!
