Bench & Field Holistic Natural Canine Formula Dry Dog Food, 16.5-Pound Bag

We have a mastiff, now 12 years old, that has a stomach so sensitive he can get sick just looking at the wrong kind of food. He had skin issues, turning red, itching and losing fur. We took him to the vet a few years back, they put him on lamb and rice, then on a very expensive brand of food containing venison, then onto salmon blend, finally a senior formula that helped the coat, but not him throwing up every day.I was at Trader Joes and grabbed a bag of this as a last ditch effort to find a food he could keep down, after a new vet recommended I start cooking hamburger for him, it is easily digested and mix it with a natural dog food. He didn't say which natural dog food, but this was probably the only one the dog has not tried. It worked extremely well. We went from him being sick every single day to just a couple of times a month. I lessened the hamburger blend in the kibble until it was just a straight bowl of this and he has been fine ever since. His coat looks good and no itching, but better yet, his stomach is finally calm.I order it on Amazon when I can't get to Trader Joes and it is nice having it delivered straight to the house. I would recommend trying this before going through some of the other expensive blends of food first. This company has been in business since 1926 and it is made in the USA.

The Holistic dog food from Bench and Field is my dog's favorite. The ingredients are excellent and I can pronounce all of them! There is good meat content and grains are kept to a minimum. There are a couple of fillers in there that I could do without, but, as far as fillers go, they are less objectionable ones.The kibbles are small, great for small dogs and toy breeds like my Tibetan Spaniel. product was received as described ON TIME but invoice was for 6 packages instead of one I ordered and I hope I don't get invoiced for 6 but otherwise, all good.

My dog loves the food. The problem is the price. You can get a 6.6 lb page of this same food for 9.99$ at Trader Joe's. This bag is 16.5lb and costs 41.80$. That's a difference of 1.50$lb versus 2.50$/lb if you buy it here. No thank you! Great product though.

I started Lucy on Bench and Field Holistic as a puppy, then got Dixie. Couldn't afford to feed both of them this so stupid me switched to Iams. Never again . Lucy is my service dog and deserves the best I can give her. So from now on its Bench and Field forever. Thanks so much for offering it on your website. Best Always, Susie Roberts and Lucy

They both plow through their meals, and do not have any bowel problems. When I run low and have to mix something else with it, they either pretty much ignore it or have problems. I can get small bags at Trader Joe's, but I wanted the larger bags since I have two dogs so it has worked out well to have it delivered.

This is such a great dog food! I have 4 dogs who were soooo happy on the food bought through Trader Joe's. Fast forward 4 mos and we're living far from a TJ's. Thank God for Amazon! Food is delivered every 4 wks and happy,gas-free dogs rule the world. Always my 1st place to search for my favorite things.
