Good Product for tight space in garage...other reviews about instructions being bad questionable
I searched for a dolly that would work for my BMW 650gt given the space in my small garage so I could put my new car in the garage with the bike. See pics. After an exhaustive search I settled on the only option that appeared to fit the space requirements, appeared safe to roll around, easy to get on and off did not require a lot of physical effort to manipulate into position. This product appeared to be the best choice and in the end, it was. I was concerned about the reviewers that said the instructions were worthless. THAT IS NOT TRUE. They were more than adequate. I took my time (4.5 hours) putting it together on my kitchen island. I would recommend that as maybe some of the frustration is in bending over for sustained periods of time. The reviewer who mentioned using the cardboard packing material in the box to lift the wheels higher to bolt them on...brilliant. The reviewer who said that the flanges (or indents) for the bolts that attach the kickstand plate to the ramp are reverse... on the wrong side...absolutely correct. You have to put those bolts in from the top of the ramp and just live with them not being recessed. For some reason the manufacturer did not admit this error in the reviews. The reviewer who said that if you put the bolts on for the wheels as instructed the wheels will not rotate...WRONG. You did not tighten the bolts all the way. If you did you would see that it clears the wheel by the tiniest amount of space,,,although I can see why you would be frustrated if you were hunched over for a period of time to only to deduce this might not work.....ON THE SAME SUBJECT...most of my time was spent putting these wheels on. The manufacturer says nothing about how tight the space is to work in when putting the wheels on...they conveniently leave you to discover that and it is annoying but I do not know how that would have been solved with this footprint. The reviewer who put rubber pads on the ramp boots...excellent idea. My garage floor is smooth and I want to keep it that way for ease of rolling the dolly around. Summary...the most repeated criticism is how bad the instructions are...apparently those who wrote that might not know what bad instructions are from some goods manufactured in China. These instructions, with the exception of the above, are far better than average. They give you the exact amount of nuts, bolts and washers...NOT EVEN ONE MORE. I suggest you lay them out with the alike together which made it so much easier. Take your time! You will find it far less frustrating setting aside an afternoon than half reading the instructions and throwing the ramp together only to be frustrated and blame the instructions. If you can elevate the ramp to at least waist height.during assembly in AC or heated indoors...DO IT! Good product and I am glad I bought it.

Works great - continues to be space and convenience safer
Purchased this 3 years ago and it continues to be of high value. Our 2 car garage has a poured concrete floor and rolling is not a problem. Have used it countless times for different cars in different ways. When not using it, it rolls under the garage workbench. When working on a project in the garage, will move a car out and roll the bike out of the way. FWIIW using a black marker I marked on the floor in each bay where the dolly should go and where the motorcycle should track into the garage so that it rolls onto the center of the dolly easily without tires screeching against the dolly sides. The tires are wide and though they fit (before buying you need to make sure your tires fit), prefer the no tire screech approach. Yeah, guilty, I blow/sweep out the garage floor to keep it clean. p.s. when loading AND unloading, make sure that both ends are locked down and that wheel bar is in place.

Good basic dolly but measure your bike carefully
Overall, a good bang for the buck. Bought two: one for my H-D Sportster and one for my Kawasaki ZX-14. Both bikes barely fit, and the metal rod won't insert behind the rear wheel of the ZX-14 (it has an extended racing swingarm but should have fit according to my apparently-inaccurate initial measurements), so a dresser is probably gonna need something longer. Remember, the wheelbase is measured axle-to-axle, so allow for the circumference of the tires by adding 6 - 12 inches or, better yet, measure from the points that the tires each offer 1 - 1.5 inches of clearance from the ground. The first dolly was in excellent shape when it arrived but the second one had some paint chips and scrapes from shifting in the packaging. Both move satisfactorily on a clean surface, but the castors are too small to roll over tiny rocks, so they must be used on a clean concrete floor. One manufacturing boo-boo is that the bevels for the bolt heads on the sidestand extension are on the underside of the extension, instead of the top of the wheel channel. Since the bolts insert from the top, the washers deform badly when the nuts are torqued down and the bolt heads protrude up into the edge of the channel. Not a major issue, but a glaring lack of attention to design detail. Assembly is straightforward but have a large open space to work since the items are big and cumbersome.

Needs Modification to Work on Concrete Floor
Purchased this item for my 2014 Harley Davidson Road King Classic, (FLHR) a bike that advertises a 63.5" wheelbase and a weight of just over 800 lbs. The assembly was challenged by a single drawing that lacked detail, but I feel I made correct decisions on which side of dolly frame the brackets were supposed to be attached. The big problem that I encountered was the fact that the frame, when in the LOADING position, (with the wheels elevated slightly) will NOT allow the bike to load without modification. Not on a smooth concrete floor. The entire dolly slides forward, away from the bike because there is insufficient drag resistance on the triangular loading feet. I experimented with a used bicycle tire innertube, and wrapped it around the loading bar (as shown in the picture.) With this extra gripping action, the bike could be loaded onto the dolly successfully. But here's the point: I shouldn't have to modify a newly-purchased item, in order to make it work! (I brought this to the Seller's attention, and the response was "Are you filing a warranty Claim?") Didn't seem interested in learning more about the design flaw. Despite its claim, it does NOT completely hold the bike of my size. The rear locking PIN will not drop into place when the bike it loaded. I would love to have it work for my bike, because I don't trust the position of the kickstand box on the dolly. To me it is slightly too far back, creating an ease of collapsing. Overall, it DOES function; allows me to rotate the bike in limited storage space. And the price was less expensive than competitor's. The quality of the material and the coating was superior. I would recommend buying a longer one, but if you have a smooth concrete floor - this may not work without modification.

Poor instructions... Aggravating assembly... Once loaded, it won't roll!
It's a stout unit, except for the cheap bolts that are provided. I actually rung one off while putting this together. It's a pain to assemble to say the least and the text only instructions do not help at all. The only saving grace was the exploded parts diagram. After spending about 2 hours putting this together, I went to load up the bike on this. First thing I noticed that the kickstand tray was too short to accommodate the kickstand of the bike (Yamaha Vstar Classic 650) making the bike unstable and unable to push the dolly around without fear of the bike falling over. The plastic wheels were the final nail in the coffin. The only way this could roll around is if you have completely smooth floors. My garage has brushed concrete and the dolly once loaded was stuck, rendering the dolly useless and ultimately making the decision to return this product.

A food buy for the money.
The shipping box had been totally trashed by the UPS guys, but fortunately, the Dolly was not damaged and all of the hardware was still within the remains of the shipping box. The unit was intuitive to assemble and works just fine for bout my Buell S3T and XB12XT. The only nitpick is there is just one kick stand tray, so the unit has to be in the proper orientation to load the bike. But one loaded, the bikes are very stable and can be rolled around my shop. Will purchase a second unit, once a few more paychecks roll by.

Great dolly!
I just assembled this dolly for my Harley Street Bob. Works and rolls great. It's easier to drive your bike up on it, than to push it. One important thing about the assembly. Put all the caster bolts on from the bottom up. If you put the bolts on following the directions, they are just a hair too long and the caster will not swivel properly. I found this out after installing one caster. No problem, the bolts don't stick up that far anyway, and work just fine. Overall all a nice motorcycle dolly.

Great product
I read few reviews complaining about the installation process. In my view it was easy to install, especially after I watched couple of videos about it on YouTube (many videos exist). One problem I had was there were couple of bolts missing so I had to stop, run to home depot, find the right bolts and finish. It was worth it. Just make sure to glance a the other end before attempting to pull the bike off of it. When you lock one side, the other side tends to come unden (unlock) easily. Once locked, it is a pleasant experience. I love this product.

Great Product
Assembly went well. The dolly works well with my road bike (old 73 Bonneville). The piece for the kick stand should be the last thing you put on and only after you have figured out where the bike will sit on the dolly since there are several possible locations for this part. I found the bottom of the kickstand holder a bit low and the bike was leaning on too much of an angle. A small piece of 2X4 under the kickstand did the trick. The "flip-ups" at each end work very well and are easy to flip to get the bike on and off the dolly from either end. This dolly rolls well on concrete and I can put my bike in a corner in the garage out of the way for the winter. Tie-down points would have been nice, but since in my case the dolly will be pretty stationary, it is not a big deal. This gets a 5 star because it works as it should and the price is decent.

A lot of assembly required.
Works OK The screws for the kick stand extension are a little too long preventing the caster from swivelling. I added extra flat washers to raise the screw and it all cleared. It is made solid no problem taking the weight of the bike. I took the short model which 3 inches of spare. Be sure to measure your bike center to center friand back to see if the shorter (cheaper) version works for you.

100% perfect product/does what it says!!
My bike dolly arrived on time! I put it together in my basement today. 30 mins to assemble! My Harley Ultra Glide, drove it right up and onto the dolly. Shut the bike off and moved it across the basement floor and into its corner in less than 3 minutes! 100% Impressed! Strong quality, powder coated and rolls around easy! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!! Excellent price, strong, durable and my Harley weighs 1211 lbs. I can move my bike with ease!! Highly Recomend this product!! Sincerely, Scott & Michelle Stannard Warne IS CD.

Great quality and works like a charm
Purchased this dolly so that I can position my motorcycle against a wall and also move it around for easy exit by spinning it around freely. Quality is great with thick heavy steel and the pieces and holes lining up well. You do get a bag of bolts, nuts and washers... I recommended sorting them out before assembling. Instructions is essentially a diagram, it's enough to figure things out. Works great, rolls well on a clean garage floor - highly recommend!
