The device runs a maximum of 5 minutes per loop. If you are traveling long distance with a SD card that is large enough. The device will continuously record. It is recommended that you have a minimum of 256g memory card and one that does great video. I am over the moon pleased with my device. You are able to continuously record and with hardware, you are given an opportunity to do parking. Parking is monitoring your vehicle for security. It is the best device . I am very pleased.

Which sd memory card do i purchase? tried several and none fit. cannot return the camera because it's past return time.
