It' ok.
Tried to fix some pretty bad wiper damage on the glass but it was too late. But it sure brightened up the glass.

It really works!
Don't waste your time and energy with the windshield cleaning hacks you find online. Just do yourself a favor and buy this product the first time. It repaired my windshield when shops told me it needed to be replaced! Just be prepared because this is a messy and time consuming process. Took me over an hour, but totally worth it.

Takes a LONG time ...
UPDATE: I ended up buying a new tank because this stuff was so annoying to work with.I purchased a used aquarium and didn't notice how scratched it was before I took it home. Instead of buying a whole new tank, I wanted to try to buff out some of the surfaces scratches, knowing that the deeper ones (ones that get caught by your fingernail when you run across it) are NOT coming out. I was glad that the kit came with the powder AND the buffing head plus it is Amazon's Choice so it felt like a no-brainer. The box that came in the mail with the products had NO instructions. I had to come back to the listing to see that there is still no real measurements for how to mix the cerium oxide. It says something like, "use a couple tablespoons and add enough water to make a slurry (thin, paste-like)". In reality, other sources say to NOT make a paste and that the mixture must be 2 parts water to 1 part cerium oxide powder so it is relatively watery. I had used the buffer head with the cerium oxide "paste" like the product listing told me to for over an hour and NOTHING changed. I kept the surface wet and cool so that the friction of the buffing did not heat up the glass and I applied equal pressure to make sure it was level and everything. I'm going to try again with 2 parts water, 1 part cerium oxide and with a handheld buffer instead of attaching the head to a cordless drill. It is VERY time consuming so it will kill all the cordless drill batteries for sure. I admit that it's better to try this before purchasing an entirely new tank or piece of glass/mirror, but you will be putting a lot of time into it and it is frustrating when the company does not even tell you how to properly use the product they sold you so you end up wasting time and a ton of product. Granted, I should have done my research beforehand, but it is still annoying.

Works great. Better than buying new windshield.
(Photos are before and after) follow the directions on the page and this stuff works great. It’s messy, and time consuming, but better than buying new glass. After finishing with the enclosed buffing wheel, and before rinsing residue: just go over everything again (firmly!) with a microfiber cloth and your flattened hand. Otherwise you’ll see all the “lanes” where the wheel travelled, once vehicle is back out in the sun.

Removes scratches
This stuff removed my aquarium scratches with ease. Just need a drill or dremel and keep the pad wet.
