This little cooker was a surprise! Our son loves concession stand hot dogs, so as something extra for his birthday we bought him this. Surprisingly, it cooks a great hot dog in just 15 min! At first I thought the clean-up was a pain, but I thought I'd share a trick...let the rollers cool completely and then place a wet rag/paper towel over them to soak up the grease. You can add a little soap on the towel if needed. Rotate the rollers as needed until they're clean and wipe up easily. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a well cooked hot dog!

Just used this the other day and it is excellent. Small enough to fit on counter. I used cheap hot dogs and they looked and tasted like the expensive ones. Cooks evenly and leaves grill marks. Not heavy at all and cleans easy. Have not yet tried the bun warmer feature yet. Would recommend.

nice little machine. it cooked the dogs slowly, took 30 to 40 minutes to cook large thick sausages but at least it does not burn them. you set the timer and go about your business. it is not easy to clean though. i use a mild to medium lightly dampened SMALL piece of scotch brite square with little dish soap. and that cleans the round cooking tubes quickly without hurting the stainless steel. every so often i turn on the motor which turns the rollers around so i can clean all the sides. as long as you dont turn on the timer, the rollers will not get hot. the drip pan is a really good thing, it keeps grease or drippings in one place easy to remove the pan and clean that part. that clear plastic lid MUST be kept open because those round cooking tubes put out a ton of heat and they will WARP that clear plastic lid if you leave it closed over the cooking hot dogs. they should of made that lid metal. nice thing is it cooks slowly so there is not much if any grease splatter from the cooking hot dogd. but being able to close the lid would aid in cooking the weiners faster plus stop ANY splatter from happening. i guess any splatter would depend on what susage or hot dogs your cooking. i actually had no splatter occuring

So this hot dog machine is flimsy. The first one came broken so I sent it back and received another one. I read a lot of reviews about this rollin dog machine. One stood out a lady said don’t man handle. Leave the lid up while in use and basically step by step instructions. Plus her do’s and dont’s. I payed attention. I Love this machine. My favorite dog is with smoked sausage links. And 4 buns fit perfectly on the bottom tray. And it does need to be cleaned while still warm while the rollers are still rolling. So much easier. Very simple to use. Love this lil flimsy machine.

Hotdogs cool off way to fast.No large hotdog buns.Hotdogs don’t get really that hot, had to nuke the hotdog for added warmth.

First the good... It cooks very well. Rollers can be turned on without heat for easier cleaning. Bun warmerworks well, buns toasty on outside and kept soft in the center.The badThe drip pan does not fit well. Keeps falling off the holding tabs. Will not hold 4 regular sized buns 3 at most. There is a way to turn off rollers, but not the heat. The heat is on a timer which is very hard to turn off by hand. With no way to turn off heat and drip pan not fitting I can not recommend this product as the best way to cook hot dogs.

For less than $50 this machine is awesome. Took 10 minutes to read instructions and clean. Then did a 10 minute ' burn off '. Put on two bun length Nathan's franks and two standard hot dog buns. 15 minutes later had perfect hot dogs. Yummy. Very easy clean up too! The compact size of unit was a big selling point. Have a small kitchen and this cooker has a very small footprint. For one or two people, this is a great hotdog cooker. Extremely happy with this purchase. Recomend to all.
