Never having used a grounding mat before, I was skeptical. But I do therapeutic touch and have experience with changes in sensations from Reiki and acupunctureand I was blown away by how immediate the effect was. The instructions could have been better regarding which side of the mat is up but between the little pictures and sentence I overlooked, I figured the rubbery side with the plug faced up. This seems cheaply made compared to others I tried. I used it for about an hour to about and felt nothing. Others I tried were almost instant feelings of grounding. Pay the extra for better quality and results.
