Excellent
I have a 9" Ecolotion pan that's been my go-to for everything from pancakes to steaks. It's a few years old and still in great condition. I needed a larger pan, and because of the performance and safety of the pan I have, I ordered this 11" Ecolution. It's great. Good weight and it heats evenly, and cleans with just a wipe. It should last as well as the 9" pan.

So far, I love it
I feel I need to be cautious, however, and maybe will review this Review several months from now. I had purchased one of the 'green' type of pans (ceramic?) earlier this year and right after purchase I could not say enough good things about it. However, after just a couple of months, it kept getting stickier and stickier (regardless of conditioning with oil) and in maybe 4-5 months after purchase it went straight to the trash. These 'Ecolution' pans feel great, look great, and so far they cook great - seems to be even heat, the handles are silicone and do not get hot, and they are truly nonstick. If their nonstick-ness (?) wears off quickly I'll come back and update the rating and review, but so far I'd have to say I am quite pleased with the purchase. Oh, and they look great too!My only possible complaint would be that the color of the photo on Amazon seems a really deep red, almost a reddish-purple. The pans aren't quite that deep in color, maybe more of a deep red, almost a bit of a brownish-red as opposed to a purple-red. Not a big deal, they are still red :) - but I have no other 'con'.

Perfect omelet pan!
I just bought this for a friend who was looking for a good omelet pan. I bought one for myself 3 months ago and have used it daily since then, and I love it! The bottom that meets the gas flame has become stained from olive oil spilled over the edge (I still use a little oil or butter even though it's a nonstick), but I'm careful with the interior, never using metal spoons or metal spatulas, and it is still perfect. I use a little dish soap and a wet paper towel, wipe and rinse and it's ready to go again. The rivets sometimes take a little more attention since I like to crisp the cheese along the edge of omelets, but a quick scrape with my thumbnail does the trick to clean them. I don't cook tomatoes in it, or other acidic foods; I have an All-Clad stainless I use for those. I also still use an older nonstick (a Greenpan that no longer works as an omelet pan because it sticks a bit) for things like fresh blueberry pancakes. I may be underestimating the Ecolution's potential by limiting its use, but having a dependable omelet pan is a must for me. My Greenpan was treated the same way initially, but it started sticking after a couple of months, even after extra cleaning to address using oils. Unlike stainless pans, nonsticks don't last forever. My Calphalon nonstick was the longest lived before this one, lasting about two years, but I paid a lot more for it, and I like this one better.

Truly no sticking!
Nicely made pan and beautiful color. The handle has a good grip and is not slippery. The non- stick surface is very easy to cleanI am careful to use wooden tools and tobe gentle with the cooking surface.Nothing sticks at all. I do preheat carefully so it does not overheat. Good browning occurs with med low heat on my glass top stove.I cooked a salmon fillet with no fat at all and it did not stick.Eggs almost leap out of the pan! Ditto cheese omelet. Yes, I did put a tiny bit of butter---I do wish lids were available.I have had no problem with buildup of any kindand have used this pan almost daily for at least ten days.Hand wash in a flash with detergent and a miracle cloth and hand dry.Store where it will not get scratched by other cooking equipment.

Seems Sturdy, Used Frequently and Non-Stick is a Plus
I was looking for a new set of fry pans, given that my old ones were either slightly warped and/or scratched. I'm also trying to get away from Teflon where I can. I did a lot of researching on Amazon before deciding on this particular frying pan.I've used the pan regularly for a couple of months at the time of this writing, and I am very pleased. No scratching or warping, although I do use silicon utensils to avoid the scratches. The pan heats evenly, and it's very definitely non-stick and easy to clean (which I totally appreciate). Will this frying pan hold up to the test of time? I can't judge that as yet, but it seems sturdy. I did like it well enough that I bought another in a different size!

Great non-stick pan, but care for it correctly
We purchased this pan in Feb 2014. It has been used almost daily for the last 8 months. During that time, it has been one of the easiest pans to clean (only hand wash, never dishwasher). The non-stick surface is truly non-stick and rarely needs any kind of soaking or other effort to clean. That said, the non-stick surface was starting to chip/wear in the center of the pan. Some of these chips are around areas where one of us had a moment of weakness and tried to use a metal object to flip, cut, or do something while cooking. However, I'm having a hard time all of the marking is from our use.Regardless of the above statement, we are ordering a replacement pan and giving it a second chance. We thought it was a great pan prior to the chip/flaking issue, so we'll see if some better care will extend the life of the pan.Possible update to follow in the future.
