I bought these to take off an old decal on my boat. It did not hurt the paint at all. Works as intended.

I removed an area of baked on vinyl from the manufacturer , about 4-5 feet wide by 6 inches , located on the front part of the vehicles hood. I tried using a heat gun but the vinyl kept melting and it became difficult to remove it this way. I used one disc partially , using about an eighth of an inch of the diameter of the disc. There was plenty left , and on the disc itself is a minimum line to which the disc is useable. I never got there. There are feedback regarding the disc unscrewing itself from the drill when the disc is lifted off the work area. To prevent this from happening I wrapped the threaded shaft of the disc with white teflon pipe threading tape . A firm grasp of the drill is required and using a slight controlled force to the affected area is a must. Once started it seems that the rubber disc is damaging the paint but it is not. Keep the disc moving to and fro, up and down. The disc material comes off in the process, just like erasing a pencil mark with an eraser. The eraser material along with the vinyl and adhesive will stick to the paint but can be physically removed with a plastic scraper and or finger nail. Finally I cleaned up any residual adhesive spots with Rapid Remover adhesive remover as Goo Gone was not as effective. Good luck

This is exactly what I needed to remove 40+ year old vinyl decals off my boat! Definitely get more then 1 if the decals are old or you have alot to do.

Great product! Unfortunately, they can spin off the chuck. Did a great job removing the old decals from my boat.

Works as it should. Pulled the decals off my outboard cover, then I sanded and painted it. Looks great. I will say you do need to be careful to not hold it in one place to long, you can burn the paint.

I watched several U-Tube Videos of the methods and tools used by the average Joe to remove the original side moldings plus the glue & adhesives from our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban I bought this eraser wheel set thinking I needed 2 and only used 1… the product worked great but that’s only half the job. Next, I used Goof Off to remove the residual glue that had been completely removed by the eraser wheel but was still on the vehicle..: use Goof Off carefully… it worked great. The other tip is leave the car in the sun to heat up the side moldings which enabled mine to peel off with no issue. Good luck

It was great. Leaves a little dust from the rubber and it blows off or wipes off and looks perfect. Even used it on some back to black that got on the bumper. Pics are

Not as simple as they show I tried to remove some double sided tape from my Audi Q7, it stripped the paint right along with the adhesive. Would NOT RECOMMEND. Rubber dust gets everywhere. Seems to last long but I wouldn’t use it for long. Do not buy and don’t destroy your paint

Great quality and good to use

Worst toffee wheels i have ever used. These just mushed the sticky into a bigger grey sticky mess and did not remove it unlike the one I bought from the local car shop the day before.
