What is the ideal temperature for melting wax?

It depends on the exact type of wax you’re using. There should be manufactures notes on the wax product you’re using.

How many quarts, or ounces will it fit? 12lbs is kind of confusing to me.

This melter can accomodate 192 oz or 6 quarts of wax. Thanks
