I can't rave enough about this stuff!
I ordered this in silver and LOVE it! If you're looking for a mirror kind of metallic finish, this isn't for you. This is very shiny and almost glitter like. It's crazy because you can see the silver flakes as you spray it on but it doesn't make a crazy mess. What's crazier is you pretty much can't mess up with this stuff! It doesn't run like normal paint! And once it dries it's not like some sort of cheap glitter spray that comes off when you touch it. When you spray it, it stays... **Updating this to say I ordered more- this stuff is amazing still! I'm going to use it to paint a display case because it's so easy to work with! I'm HORRIBLE at painting and always get drips but not with this stuff! The one thing I can say is if you're planning on spraying glass i'm not sure about the durability.. I bought this to spray the insides of purple mason jars with and tried spraying water droplets in there to get a "mercury glass" effect... It didn't work out for me so after it dried I got a scrubber and it came right off and that was a couple of days later even... BUT that being said I cleaned the jar out and resprayed it directly on the glass with nothing else and it bonded a bit better. If it's not going to be rubbed or touched then it should stay on... So spraying the insides of jars and such should be just fine. As far as drying time, it is CRAZY fast! It dries quicker than anything i've seen.. I'm not sure if the same results carry across with every color but with silver it dried so fast that I only waited a couple minutes between coats! DEFINITELY will buy again!

Excellent spray bomb
This does exactly what I was expecting and Iโm very pleased. I made this trashed Seeburg wallomatic look nice again and the price point for the paint was very good!

Great product
Great Finish with Some Prep Work I used the Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray Paint (Gold) for a DIY home decor projectโrevamping some old picture frames and a small table. The finish is beautiful and has a nice shimmer without being overly glittery or fake-looking. It dries fairly quickly and adheres well to wood and metal surfaces. Pros: โ The metallic finish is very realistic and smooth. โ Easy to apply if you follow the instructions. โ Dries to the touch in about 30 minutes. โ Doesnโt clog easily (as long as you shake it well). Cons: โ You really need to prep the surface wellโsand and prime if you want the best results. โ The smell is very strong, so definitely use it in a well-ventilated area or outside. โ Coverage isnโt great for larger projectsโyou may need more than one can. Overall, Iโm really happy with the look. Iโd recommend it for anyone doing small to medium DIY projects who wants a classy metallic look. Just be patient with prep and use light coats

Best in show!
Although the other reviews mostly already say what I am about to, I still need to say my piece. :) I have looked for gold (silver and copper) paints in the past and have come up empty, so in the last few years I 'just assumed' that the metallic paints were still as they were back then. I was wrong. The GOLD paint being reviewed here is REALLY GOLD, for me it appears as though it is actually really gold precious metal, the really, REALLY bad job of trying to make you think it is as shiny as the gold cap is crazy. The cap is not something I would want, at least for me, but thankfully I saw some actual samples of 'stuff' that others have sprayed and was wowed by what I saw, it wasn't the crappy fake looking cap color, it was real gold to me. So, after a quick test I sprayed some on some round rocks that you can buy at Hobby Lobby and places like that, I wanted to paint my rocks to appear to be gold. Tacky, right? :) I did, and I was really happy with the outcome, it is not a brass look, it's actually so realistically gold that this paint should be REALLY popular with crafters, or maybe even more popular. As far as the longevity of the paint job that is yet to be seen, I read another review here that said after a few months the COPPER paint dulled slightly possibly from there being some real copper in it that it did what real copper would, tarnish. This is just for the GOLD though, I am REALLY happy with this, I wish I could paint a lot more stuff but I need to restrain myself and keep it at a minimum. :) Get this stuff, you really won't regret it, anyway, there is no other gold paint that even comes close to what this stuff can do, so really you don't have much choice.

Truly Metallic Copper !!!!
Hello there.... I have two 4 1/2 feet long Soldier Copper Statues at home. During the course of time, it started to wear out its original color texture. I tried all sort of things at home, to clean it up and bring it back to its original glory, however I was not successful. I started checking out for other options... I tried the combination of Vinegar and lime, vinegar and baking soda... nothing worked... instead it turned bad to worst. I checked out a wide range of spray paints related to copper paints on Amazon.in and went through a lot of reviews and finally decided & placed an order for Rustoleum Speciality Metallic Copper Spray paint. I am not disappointed with my decision. Rust Oleum Metallic Copper spray paint was the right one for the job!!!! The product was delivered well before the timescale, neatly packed and without any damage and the estimated timescale was 3 weeks as this has to be sent from Truworth, Jaipur. The courier arrived with 10 days of being ordered through Blue Dart. The weekend approached, and I was full of zeal to get started to restore the copper statues. First I cleaned the surface of the statues with water and wiped it clean with Microfiber cloth... let it dry. After this, I hand painted both the statues with Metal primer ( Locally available at any hardware store) and let it dry for a day. I felt that this would be better because I wanted the paint to stick to the surface without any issues, however if you are fine, you could also spray the paint directly on to the surface without any primer. Post this, I completed the prep for spray painting. Prep work: * Local Metallic Primer - 100 ml. * 600 & 400 grit sandpapers, * microfiber cloth, * 2ft X 3ft plastic sheets, you could also make sure of the Shalimar Garbage plastic bags or another plastic sheets, * 1/2 Inch brush ( for applying the primer) * 50ml of thinner or petrol. - Cleaned up the surface thoroughly and made sure that there no dust or any excess primer sticking out. In case if there are some, simply use 400 grit sandpaper and apply water on the surface and the sand paper and gently scrub the surface wipe it clean and repeat the same process with 600 grit sandpaper. Once you are sure that you done a thoroughly prep work the next step is to get the statue ready for painting. Getting started: - First read all the necessary instructions clearly and thoroughly. - Shake the can for at least 1 to 2 minutes or until you can see the dents made by the steel ball inside the can at bottom of the can. - If you are using Rust Oleum Comfort spray grip - read the instructions - Place the can on to the comfort gripper and then... the first coat should be a light one - spray from 6 to 8 cms for left to right and the keep the momentum going. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes for the paint to really set in. Make sure that you do not touch the paint to see if it has dried up... if you do... it will leave an ugly mark on the surface, and it will land you up with more work. - Get on with the last coat - heavy coat, spray from 5 to 6 cms and maintain the momentum. Once you are done, just leave the place for an hour or two. To ensure that this paint on the statues remains the way it is... I painted the surface with " Rust Oleum - Crystal Clear Enamel Spray Paint" as top coat. This is to ensure that it has a long lasting durability. I shall post the images of copper painted statues shortly because right now they are drying up. ( Have posted the images today - 07th feb 2018) ... :-) The product is awesome... simply wonderful... and absolute copper color ( pls note : it is not the rustic copper color). I am very happy with the way the statues have come out after painting them Rustoleum - Metallic Copper Spray Paint. and with crystal clear Enamel as top coat. The quantity was sufficient, I just used only 1 can of spray paints of both ( Metallic Copper & Crystal Clear Enamel) even though I order for 2 each, but 1 can of each covered both the statues with ease. Truly worth the money you are investing in. Thank you Rust Oleum and Truworth (India) for giving such wonderful products. Cheers!!! Regards, Antony Paul.

Amazing product
An extremely good product. The finish is immaculate and the overall effect is amazing. But on the downside it is slightly expensive.
