I’m happy!!
For me, this was a perfect solution. I live in SoCal, and I surf at lunch every day. I bring my board to work...and even with an insulated board bag, I get some wax melt. Fed up, I finally researched waxless alternatives. One of my friends had this on one of his boards, and said it worked well. I bought three kits for a 5’10” seaside so that I could customize to fit my board exactly. I had some leftover, but three kits was needed for the job to do it how I wanted. I’m super happy with the grip. If you’ve been surfing a fair amount of time, you’ll stick well. I highly recommend for those that are decently experienced and need something like this to fit a specific need. I’ve never slipped, and my wetsuit sticks well. I have an xcel drylock x ...so the smoothie front adheres well. I plan to do some of my other boards with this. Glad I finally tried it. It feels like I stick as well as wax. Longevity wise, I cant speak to how it holds up. So far, so good. There aren’t many reviews for this, so I kinda went out on a limb to try it out. Money well spent. No more changing out wax every few weeks, no waxing every day, if it gets dirty, scrub it with a scrubby and some dish soap. Get it if you have the need. You won’t regret it. Super legit.

nice but starting to yellow
I've only tried to surf with it a few times in the summer when just wearing boardshorts. after a few days, I started to a rash. But if you are wearing a wetsuit, they work great. pretty grippy. not as grippy as wax but without all the hassle. They look great when I first put them on but now it is starting to turn a yellowish color. In LA we sometimes get these oil spots so I'm not sure if it was due to that or the sun causing the yellowing

Great for surfboards
You don’t need wax if you have these. Way easier!

Not as good as wax w boots on
Not as good as wax in Cold water climate w boots and wetsuit. Half as good I would say. Used in warm water also w a bit of wax and was good.Update now after some use... I actually like it for a base and very durable. I use wax on top of it. EPS and tufflite boards can have issues w wax not staying on w heat etc but this is great. Again not as good as wax with boots on in cold water.

Best stick on traction pads on the market
I've used many front traction pads and these are the best. They are thin and conform to the board well and they feel very tacky. Only cons I've seen is that you have to make sure your feet aren't oily. I good rub in the sand or slipping off the surface once or twice fixes this and then you're all good.
