10 Evie Everbearing Strawberry Plants - Bare Root Plants from Hand Picked Nursery

I attached a few pictures, to show the amazing amount of growth already! They have been in my raised bed for a week now. I soaked them initially for 24 hours which was longer than instructed. As some other reviews have pointed out, some of the plants looked dead upon arrival, some mushiness as well. I pruned off carefully as much as I could and EVERY SINGLE PLANT including the extra one they send (which is lovely to do by the way, thank you!) has new growth and all appear the be absolutely thriving. Very healthy! I saw some other photos on other reviews here and most seem to have the crown covered/planted and you cannot do that with strawberries, that’s how they die. Leave the crowns exposed for sunlight and enjoy your strawberries, I know I will ! 🍓

Planted as soon as I got them, they are growing and the condition is good value for them. They were slightly yellow yet have turned green and are very happy. 😊

I have a green thumb and can grow anything. But, Plants start to grow nicely. then in 10 day days dead. TWICE. SO DONT BUY.

I just got these and have been very impressed so far. After soaking I planted them in small containers and they are growing like weeds!! I’m super excited to watch them mature and get some home grown strawberries!

Amazing! Started to see green peaking out before a week had passed! The bare roots arrived on 5/5; as seen in the photos taken today, 5/19, there are flowers! They are planted in an old utility sink resting on the ground in my side garden. One bare root didn't survive, but they sent extra, so I'm still ahead. I followed the directions regarding sand, etc. Far exceeded my expectations! Thank you!

So far, they ALL seem to be alive The first batch of twenty, 1/2 of them did not do anything.. Very disappointed! That is why I bought 10 more. Praise God they look good so far.

I bought a bag of June Bearing strawberries from a big box store, and three everbearing varieties from Hand Picked Nursery. The bag from the big box had three clumps of pale-yellow seed leaves on long white stems. The plants from Hand Picked had green leaves on each crown, long, healthy roots and perked up after soaking roots for two hours. The pictures are the same day I planted them. You can see there were more than the ten promised plants in each pack

I was very excited to get these and wanted to give decent time for the plants to grow before reviewing. This is my first time with this seller. Won’t buy again since majority ended up dying. (8 of 10) This is not my first time growing strawberries in a pot. Have been successful before. I contacted seller and they suggested not growing in the pot I sent a photo. I followed the initial instructions- didn’t bury the crowns, they grew a little but then withered. They may have come with bugs- not sure but none of my other plants are having issues so it’s a tad frustrating. Used same soil, same patio, etc. seller wanted to charge me for shipping new plants so I declined and they wouldn’t give any money back. Next time I’ll just try a local to buy from. Oh well I’ll try next year for strawberries. Can’t recommend this product unfortunately.
