I have tried many different ways to keep resin contained while making jewelry and just about gave up because no matter what I did, I would get leaks. When I got this tape I had my doubts, just because it didn’t seem that sticky. But let me tell you this stuff is AMAZING! I was pouring resin in wooden earring pieces and for the first time, literally ever, I had no leaks. I am now a true believer of the resin tape. I’m just sad I didn’t find this sooner.

This tape was perfectly sized and strong enough to hold down my bezel without resin leaking through. It was also easy to remove once the UV resin set. Price was right too. So win win!

Did a batch of resin pendants on this tape and they came out okay, but maybe it's the nature of the tape itself that requires a final coat over the resin after taking off the tape. It's smooth, but it's not finished. Sometimes it didn't stick as well on the bottom of what I was pouring into, and that led do some frustrating moments. I highly recommend smoothing it on the surface with your finger to ensure seal rather than rubbing it on a flat surface, but--using your finger can lead to other uneven surface issues. That is the nature of the tape, I think. It does, however, work well for what I needed it for and also didn't peel away when I used heat to pop the resin bubbles.

Easy to remove. Good quality. Great value for money. Works well during making of each project.

Good for resin

First a huge shout out to the company who sent me a new roll to review. The new roll definitely had more tack when compared to the original one reviewed. It worked great for lining and sealing my forms for pours.Original Review: I don’t like writing bad reviews, however I really had high hopes for this tape, and I was left disappointed. Sure, the resin doesn’t stick to the tape, but the tape doesn’t stick either. I used a few feet hoping that it would get tackier as I dove deeper into the role, but that wasn’t the case. I ended up using hot glue to get it to stick. Worked as well as plastic wrap.
