Wild Harvest Foraging Instincts Peck n’ Play Interactive Treat, 2 Ounce, for Small Birds

This was so much fun to watch Niko figure out! He had to use his natural foraging instincts to work at getting the treat out, and watching him practice was better than the entertainment on TV. I love anything that keeps him mentally stimulated while encouraging natural behaviors. Niko definitely gave this his feathered seal of approval!

My birds wouldn't touch them. It has a wax smell and taste (I tried it to see why they didn't like them.) Half were broken apart on arrival. Birds are leary over new items. I gave them weeks and threw it away.

Not super appealing to birds- has been in our cockatiel’s cage for a month and she only wanted to try once we added millet inside.

This was a great idea but my conures were terrified of it. I hope you have better luck. Birds tend to be neophobic (afraid of new things). He/they did not recognize the item as food. You might have better luck.

I think overall this is a great idea but my green conure these destroyed these in 3 days. She was able to get the food out and then the rest just falls to the bottom of the cage and she wants nothing to do with it. I think that if these were constructed with a lot more treats with several of these plastic things hanging from one hook it would make more sense. These would be way too small for a macaw.

it took my parrot about a month to touch these, but she seems to enjoy them now.

My parakeets do not seem to like these. I’ve tried both in different areas of the cage and they have only checked it out once and never returned to it.
