I bought this to display a Gladius, the Roman short sword. It's the perfect size for it, and fits the sword in its sheath. It was easy to assemble and hang and looks great on the wall without the fasteners visible. Great job!

Update: Mythrojan reached out to me and acknowledged a varnish issue that they plan to resolve. They gave me a full refund and assured me that the product varnish quality will soon improve. This makes their customer service 5 star level of quality, but the current state of the product, makes it a 4 star level experience. When the product is improved, I will buy and update the review to reflect this. The varnish is not smooth. In some places it's barely present and in other places it has dried in blobs and drips That is the front of the front side of the stand. The back is much worse, but no one really sees that when it's hanging, so that's not really an issue There are 2 weird circles in the front that look like they were caused either by drilling errors or knots in the wood (have to sand off the varnish and stain blobs to find out. The only saving grace for this stand is it is solid wood. The varniah can be sanded and reapplied. The stand should just be sold unstained and unvarnished for $15 dollars less.

Great piece here that will make your sword look elegant on the wall without being too flashy. Easy to put together I’d just recommend a little glue after assembly on the peg pieces to keep them in place.

It holds a lot of weight and looks good.
